Stopped by shop on Monday September 12th in the morning for an estimate to provide glass for a curio cabinet. Here we are Friday, September 16th and no estimate. How incompetent are you that you can't provide an estimate in four days on such a simple job. Take your business to a professional, Desert Breeze Glass certainly is not.

I am impressed with Desert Breeze Glass! My bedroom window was shattered during the wicked monsoon storm July 17th. I called a couple of companies who were unable to come repair it for several days. Desert Breeze put me on the schedule immediately with a 4 hour repair window and it's all fixed and I couldn't be happier. The technician was prompt, professional and the price was exactly what they quoted plus it was $50 less than the other guys! I will definitely use them again if I have another emergency.

Desert breeze was recommended to me and my initial thoughts were positive. They quickly scheduled a date to come in to do estimates on repair of window balances on 8 windows. I received the estimate and thought it was a bit high as I didn't think parts would be too expensive but due to Covid I went with it. The estimate showed $675 for labor so I assumed it was very challenging to replace the balances. The technician arrived as scheduled and quickly started working. In under 1 hour he was complete with all 8 windows. Having him done fast was great however.......$675 for under 1 hour of work with only 1 technician!!!!! Even if he had to drive an hour to get there and it was 2 hours.....at over $300 an hour labor!!! I'm definitely in the wrong career. Emailed them and received a call back. No real explanation other than sometimes the jobs are a bit harder. They did offer a discount IF I used their services again in the future. Bottom line is $675 for 1 hour work is not ethical to charge!!!!

This company has done glass for me in the past. However I have two pieces of tempered glass that I needed done for the Avondale civic center. They did tell me that it would be 7-10 days. They assured me that their tempered products normally come in in 4 days however. The 10 day mark rolls around and I had to cal a few times to follow up to see if the glass was ready. They managed to order just one piece. I gave them two templates. Another 10 days of waiting. Then we send our driver over to pick up glass and there was no one to help load or to load for my driver. The pieces are heavy and large. 36"x72" or so. Overall just the worst glass company I have ever dealt with

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!! We hired DBG to turn our dining room into an office. They assured us that they can do this job. It was WAY OVER their head. RIchard the installer is CLUELESS . It was 6 months from date of order until the day we fired them from the job. We gave them multiple chances to make the job right. The issues stemmed from them ordering the wrong materials for our job. They were installing 10.5 foot by 3 foot sheets of glass with a 3/4 inch channel meant for shower glass. They lied and said it was the proper channels for the job and that is how the company they ordered the glass from designed the job that way. Stupidly, the owner Cathryn Curcio, supplied me with the cut sheets for the project that the manufacturer drafted and it was what Desert Breeze Glass approved with the glass manufacturer/supplier. Since the manufacturers contact information was on those sheets I called and spoke with them. We were told by them that these were the channels Desert Breeze Glass approved. When DBG placed our order they failed to tell the supplier that this was going to be for a room enclosure and not a shower enclosure. If you do not tell the supplier what the purpose of the job is then they automatically design it as a shower project, DBG did not pay attention to the design details and approved the job. Thats just the beginning though. Richard the incompetent installer used what he told my husband were "magic screws" to screw these u channels in. The industry standard is to screw the screws in every 9-12 inches and we had them screwed in every 3 feet. So one "magic screw" every 3 feet into a smaller than necessary channel to hold up 350 lbs 10.5x3 foot sheet of glass. BUT IT GETS BETTER......as i was sitting to watch this installation, they put the 3rd sheet of glass in, I noticed that the channel was pulling out of the ceiling, with the glass in it !!! That channel was only screwed into drywall, Richard the genius did not hit any wood.... I pointed it out and he said that it will all tighten up as the other glass was installed to the abutting channel....This did not make a bit of sense to me so I questioned him further as I do not want any accidents in my home with 2 young grandchildren walking around . He did not like my questions and so he packed up his tools and STORMED off the job site. He said after 18 years in this business he was not going to be questioned by anyone about his work. Meanwhile there were 3 or 4 other subcontracted installers he brought along that he left behind. Those guys were from another company, were very nice and courteous and said that they told Richard more than once that he needed more screws but he just refused and didnt want to do it. Eventually after an hour or so, the boss for the subcontracted employees showed up to try to complete the job but the screw that was not screwed into wood.came completely loose and the panel of fell out of the ceiling, came crashing down and shattered into a zillion pieces all over my home and the workers. After that day is when I began the investigation of calling the glass supplier and speaking with other glass contractors seeking advice on what my next steps should be. I had already paid her 5K to start this job and at this point we are 3 months in from placing our order and had nothing to show for it. We tried to give them a chance to make it right but In order to use the channels we ordered and were promised, the glass would have had to been slightly smaller as there is a setting block that sits into the channel and it takes up some space which would make the glass they ordered too tall. We pleaded with her but remaking the glass and use the channels that we ordered but she refused. She offered us another channel but this channel was not the finish we ordered. The channel we ordered was a shiny chrome finish but the one she wanted to give us was a nickel looking finish which did not match the rest of the metals in my home. This was an over $10,000 job that she wanted to take short cuts on to save her money instead of owning up

So I own a 1972 scout ii. I had brand X come out to install a new windshield and needless to say he walked off the job. I called Desert Breeze and explained how hard of a job this is and that it's not your typical install. They agreed. Dalton showed up and within 30 minutes he and his helper had the whole thing done! Just wanted to say thank you guys! To all the classic car guys I give a big thumbs up to Desert Breeze! They did a great job.

So...we have used Desert Breeze since 2006 and they have replaced many windshields on our various vehicles, and we were very satisfied. We have always requested them through our insurance company and never had any issues. Fast forward to 2021. They were slow to respond. It took 3 weeks to get a non-OEM window and then I had to call them to even get an appointment and then I was given a 10a-2pm window when appointment was finally scheduled and installer showed up at 3:30pm. We will NOT be using Desert Breeze again.

Very bad experience. The mixed color of trim. Need 2 months to asked them to fix and eventually not fixed. When they said call you back later, it means never call back. When they said will take of it tomorrow, means nobody will show up. They are trying to convince me the white is the correct color, it is my bad that my original trim is brittle. Finally give up, just don’t want to talk with them.Maybe you are lucky with your project goes well, but if not, be prepared to take several months to call.I saw the owner's reply to this review. I only know my trim is good pre the glass replacement, but post work, it's broken and need to be replaced. emm. I hope you know the logic, who need pay for this. it is just maybe 10$ materials. don't understand why..I went to your store because you guys never call me back when you said will call back soon. even we have appointment, but your guys didn't show up. I kinda have no choice. have to drive 20 mins there 2 times.our deal is closed now as I give up. it is only a few bucks. I will ask somebody else to do it. but I hope in the future you guys can improve your service by call back the customer on time and give update. do show up on your appointment. otherwise, this will happen again on the future customer. ok?

I just had Desert Breeze replace a cracked window in my house. They called ahead to let me know they were on their way and they arrived shortly after. They were very professional and the guys were awesome. They worked cleanly and efficiently and were done within 30 mins. They vacuumed the work area when they were done and did an excellent job. I will be using them for all my glass needs and referring them to friends and family! Thanks Desert Breeze!
