Dave was very personable on the phone when this new Arizona resident called him, telling him I was looking for a new tax person, and have 3 years of Federal and out-of-state income taxes to file or amend. (He knew he'd be getting a lot of business from me, and very soon, if I chose to hire him.) I had a simple question about 2015 Federal Taxes. Rather than answer it, he insisted I send him a copy of my already filed 2015 1040 form, first. Politely telling him that "that" wasn't necessary in order for him to answer my "tax law question", he refused to answer my question - telling me we had to have a relationship of "give and take", and that there are a lot of other tax preparers around who I could call. Working with David Acosta was the best tax experience I have ever had. I have worked with David for 3 years on my family taxes and every time he has shown professionalism and exceeded our expectations. He has been doing taxes for many years and his experience shows through. He continually keeps himself up to date on the latest laws and regulations while further educating himself on a consistent basis.
