Wanted to love but they didn’t have the dip color I wanted, yet charged me $5 extra and didn’t tell me until I went to pay to create the color I wanted but they couldn’t find. Also were being weird about mixing funny bunny and bubble bath on my toes when I get that all the time. They said they were worried about the paint color getting on the brush and mixing and didn’t want to wait for them to dry in between layers. Kept asking me if I wanted gel and I told them to stop pushing gel on me, I HATE gel. They said they weren’t pushing it on me. But guess what? They put gel OVER my dip nails and didn’t tell me. My nails are short but they are so thick they look like bubbles. I also loathe when they use a drill instead of a normal buffer. Honestly it’s plain lazy and ruins your nail bed all so they don’t have to spend time on your nails. Only 1 other person was in there so not sure why they couldn’t spend a few extra minutes using a manual nail file? I got a regular pedicure and they didn’t put the nail polish color all the way to the edge of my nail, yet it’s on my skin. Also charged $1.75 to me for using my credit card which is honestly just lame business practices in my opinion. Is it even legal? And of course wanted a cash tip on top of it all. $30 for the pedi, $45 for the SNS dip + $5 for adding the pink gel I didn’t want, $1.75 for using my credit card so $81.75 plus a $10 tip so $91.75. For a basic, shotty job.

The tech did her best but the work was sloppy. I just had them done today and they look grown out already.. also most of my nails weren’t painted entirely as you can see in the photos.

Let me start by saying I have personally had my nails done for many years so I am familiar with a good nail salon and a poor nail salon. I have never encountered an owner as rude and unprofessional as this salons owner. I had a 3:00 nail appointment for my granddaughter for a fill and nail art. (back story my granddaughter just had her full set put on 3 wks. prior at this salon). So I assumed her appointment would be about an hour or so. When I returned at 4:00 she was still not done because the owner said she had to remove her old nails and put on a new set because of the style my granddaughter wanted. So I thought well not happy with that but, it should only take another half an hour. In the meantime this owner started helping with and working on two other customers while my granddaughter and I sat there.
When I finally asked her how much longer it would be (since I had other commitments) she said about another half an hour or so is that ok, to which I said well it will have to be. Then I said to her we've been here one and half hours already to which she got snarky with me and said, I had to remove her nails and she wants nail art too so maybe you should talk to her (meaning my granddaughter) I then asked why are you working on other customers while my granddaughter and I are waiting and again we've been here over an hour and a half. She rudely replied and was extremely condescending. We were at the salon for 2 hours and then she had someone else check us out, because she could even face me. She charged me $91 dollars which again I have had my nails done for years (not at this salon) and this was definitely an over charge based on her getting mad at me for questioning her.
I obviously will never take my granddaughter there again. I would recommend you find another salon too. I will take her back to Dip Boutique on Recker. They are professional and treat their customers with pride and respect and your nails look great when you leave.

I had a dip manicure today with a new gel polish color line (all the colors were so cool). Apple used the mint green pearl & it turned out soooo nice & pretty. I will request these colors for quite a while. Thanks for the great job!!
