Pretty bad experience. Took my 4 year old in for a haircut today. The lady didn’t cut his hair AT ALL like I requested and blamed it on him moving too much. He wasn’t moving hardly at all. Halfway through the cut she clearly just started rushing and said “I just need to get this hair cut done”, and buzzed his hair off. He was in the chair not even 20 minutes… Not sure what her problem was but she seemed like she just wanted to rush through the whole process and was annoyed to be doing her job.

TERRIBLE!!!
I was passing through. I do not remember her name, but she was full blood Navajo. She does not talk. and did give what I wanted.
If you go there.....do not use this lady.

Always a great haircut at Great Clips. Checked in online and was greeted right away with a friendly smile from the stylist. Can’t go wrong with great service!

Can’t say I’d recommend this location. Stylist rushed and her work shows that. She also had an attitude and was annoyed I asked for the ends to be tapered mid way through. “Why didn’t you ask that from the start?!?” She replied. I was afraid to ask for any more changes there after. Will be going to another location for my next cut.

I switched to Great Clips after some bad (and expensive) barbershop cuts. I got Flo he first time and have been coming back ever since. She is absolutely awesome and I have referred our entire shop. We work in the complex and Flo now cuts all our employees hair! She makes us all feel like royalty and I have literally never gotten a bad cut from her. She is sweet and very talented at what she does. Not one of the annoying solon women who blab your ear off about nothing. Sheeven remembers what we spoke about during the last haircut 5-6 weeks prior! We all love this location and we all LOVE Flo!

I took my son there a few months back and had a great experience. Today, my parents took him there to get a hair cut and they told me the experience was not that great. They mentioned the person who cut my son's hair appeared to look uncomfortable while cutting my son's hair. My mom asked repeatedly to have a certain length cut but did very tiny amounts at a time. She also mentioned the way she was cutting his hair didn't seem really smooth, compared to other times she has seen his hair cut. And she did it quickly enough to where you can tell she was rushing it just to get it ovee with. If the person cutting hair is uncomfortable cutting a kids hair, they need to say something about it instead of wasting their time and money. I would rather you be honest about it then fake it until you make it. Your website says you guys do kids hair cuts. His hair length wasnt even cut short enough. We're not coming back here.

I haven't had a cut in a few years and got lucky enough to have my hair cut by the district manager. She was an absolutely incredible hairstylist and I can see why she is in the position she is in. Also glad to see prices haven't got up a ton!

I hav been going to great clips for many years and have never been more impressed with a business model as my great clips,,ever stylist there is always friendly and great at what they do.I love my directions are always in the computer but they always ask am I ok with that and proceed t getting it right every time and for a super price. At my shop at Guadalupe and Dobson most of the girls seem to stay a long time and I love them all, I especially have a favorite Flo

Been going here for a hot min used to have a hairstylist and yes i am a man. When i lost her had to find something other than a razor in the mirror. And im not going to a barber. This place is good place to get ur drapes trimmed. There friendly and know me well enough that its not single serving conversations. Or they will keep to their selves if you have trouble getting out of your shell. Prob get it trimmed here toGreat place to have your ears lowered and there finally off the stupid covid schedule we were fooled with. There open late enough normal people trying to keep up with their day can get a trim. I wouldn't go back to a solon these lovely ladies keep me from looking slacky for a decent peice . Dont forget to TIP. Go get groomed you need it.

I had a great experience with hair cutter Marnie today. She listened to me when i told her what i wanted and she was so pleasant and kind. Call ahead and make sure she is available otherwise dont bother coming in unless u want to be yelled at by some scary looking lady or have your haircut by some other girl who seriously needs her hair washed. This place should be called Misfit Clips.

Great Clips on Guadalupe and Dobson, customers beware. I have gone to this location multiple times, and this is the first horrible experience I've had. I did online check in, and showed up. There was only one employee there. It was a rather burly woman with bright maroon hair, angrily huffing around while sweeping. She barked at me. "What do you want?". I told her that I'd like a couple inches off since my end were dry from bleaching. She hadn't even looked at my hair since it was still in a braid, and she said "well if your hair is fried, I can't cut it." Why? She said it would look worse if she cut it. She said not to bother cutting it and just condition it. I told her I have been, but it's been difficult to style, so I'd like it shorter. She looked at me, like, "Get out of my chair. " So I ask, "Are you not willing to cut it?" She sighed loudly like she was exasperated with me and hollered to the other customers waiting, telling them it was going to be a while since "she insists on getting her hair cut. " Wtf, isn't that what they do at Great Clips? She grabbed my hair and roughly clipped it up. Personally, I don't trust someone with a shitty attitude and who is already being super rude with scissors to my hair. I told her "no thank you, I'm good." To which she gave me a bigger attitude. I take my kids there, and now I want to avoid this entire location. I live closer to a different location but usually come to this one because they're usually so nice. Anywho, fair warning to avoid this person who doesn't seem to enjoy her job.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME DRIVING HERE!This GC sucks. Aweful customer service and communication. I've tried to get a shampoo at this location twice. Each time the lady has had some sort of attitude. This last time 2/14/24, the 'lady' was God aweful. I would never let someone with an attitude like that touch me or my child.
