The room was dirty and the fact that there is a light on the balcony that can't be turned off is frustrating 😑 and distracting at night when your trying to sleep. There where kids running up and down the halls screaming and being noisy. The elevators where also very slow and clearly old because we waited forever when we needed to use one. Front desk lady at check out this morning was rude AF. Just all around a cheap experience that was overpriced.
Rooms: Dirty

Completely dishonest and u professional. We called the hotel and spoke to a gentleman to make our reservation. He was very helpful and kind, asked us what we needed. We told him we have 2 small dogs, 2 adults, and need a 1 king bed. He told us for a 1 king bed, 2 adults, 2 pets, for 2 nights, was $330-something dollars. We loved that and accepted. When we arrived to check in, we are told there is an additional $100 non-refundable pet fee. We said absolutely not, that is not what was quoted for over the phone. The lady was emotionless and almost staring through us. It kind of felt like we were in the presence of an AI robot or something. We ran into 2 other families during our stay, and they said they had the same dishonesty about the pet fee. If i could give zero stars I would. DO NOT STAT HERE. Oh, and no continental breakfast, it's an extra $15.99 per person per plate.

Bed bugs! Beware!!
I got my first case of bed bugs from this property (Jan 20-22, 2025) and want to spare others from the misery of having them. Do NOT stay at this property! Furthermore, when working with the Front Desk Manager to find a resolution, I had to follow-up by phone and email several times over two weeks. Ultimately, they skirted responsibility and said I don't have bed bug bites. It is completely unlikely it is anything other than bed bugs from Holiday Inn - Mesa, AZ.
If other people want to take the risk and stay at this property, just know that the property probably won't accept responsibility for anything upsetting that happens during your stay.
With plenty of other hotels, vacation rentals, B&Bs, etc., why take the chance?
Rooms: Infested with bed bugs!!!
Noteworthy details: Staff provides terrible response-time and tries to gaslight you about what you experienced.

There was a bit of a glitch regarding our reservation when we checked in (midnit-ish), but the staff checking us in handled it like a pro and got us into our rooms quickly. Very clean, convenient location. And sat in the hot tub for hours.
Rooms: Well appointed rooms with LOTS of power outlets and USB outlets. Super handy for recahrging my devices. Love the auto-on light when I walked into the bathroom.
Safety: Felt very safe and no issues with the parking and safety.
Walkability: Walked to Starbucks on the daily morning routine to get my Grande Dark Roast, black.
Food and drinks: The morning buffet was great - ate too much bacon....

Antiquated cooling system, lights not working in the parking lot along with $100 pet fee means we won’t be back

This hotel is about what you’d expect for the price. When looking at recent reviews, I was a bit nervous. To my surprise, the room was quite clean. It’s very bare bones, but it has everything you need. The room was cleaned daily. The conference rooms are pretty nice. The lobby large, and the pool area is a great place to relax. Breakfast was your average cheap hotel food.
Two things to note. This hotel only has two elevators, one of which was down for (I believe) our entire stay. The one elevator that was operational was slow.
The dryer in the main building, second floor, did not work. There was no sign indicating it was broken, but when I spoke to front desk staff, apparently it rarely works. It was an inconvenience, as I had to carry all my wet laundry to the other side of the hotel.
The gym is nice for a hotel, it even has a smiths machine. Also, the hotel is close to the airport.

Week of 1/6/25 Don't stay here. I literally have a picture of the bedbugs. In the middle of the night (1am), they switched my room because I found bedbugs bugs. Just a wow, I'm sorry, but both employees did not seem surprised. Offering "maybe because we are renovating " as if that made me feel any better. This was on top of no hot water for 3 days. And yes, they charged me for the full amount.

This hotel was a great choice! The staff were exceptionally friendly and yet completely professional. The building is well kept and clean. Our rooms were very clean and the furniture was well appointed. One thing we loved was all the places to plug in devices. So often hotel rooms do not have enough outlets for a family if everyone wants to charge their phones. The pool area is one of the best I have seen in the Phoenix area. The pool is huge and there are lots of spaces to hide in the shade or soak in the sun. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Phoenix area for family fun or for business. Only a short 15 min drive from the airport and close to every type of shopping!

Stayed here for the weekend while we were in from out of town for a music event. The location is hotel is great walking distance to several restaurants only six minutes from an In-N-Out, which was important lol. Staff was friendly rooms were fairly clean. There were more hairs strung about the bathroom than I typically prefer. Hotel staff was great. The pool In Hot Tub area were fantastic, very well taken care of overall I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms: Pretty clean. I don’t think they would’ve passed any white glove tests, but they did the job.
Nearby activities: Mesa Arts center, Waffle House, McDonald’s, Starbucks

The rooms are excellent be sure you get a balcony room. Morning breakfast is great staff is just as good. I will gladly be returning to this location next month. The restaurant food prices are very inexpensive.
