The way the contractor parking is inaccessible is idiotic

I'm a contractor, and I'm in HD every day in different locations, I have not come across a location that makes the access to the trailer parking as difficult as this one does, the manager has to be an idiot, I've come to this location for 13 yrs because it's the closest to my house and in the last yr the changes to the contractor/lumber area are ridiculous

Updated review:
Today I went to this location to buy a few small items. When I went to the customer service desk, I had a question about a product and was hoping I could just check out at the customer service desk. It wasn't busy and they were just standing around and not helping anyone. The Associate who I speaking with said "are you looking to check out", and when I said "yes", he pointed me to self service or the garden section. And his tone of voice was quite rude.
𤨠I feel like the kindness and customer service at this location has gone down hill big time over the last 4 years! You see alot of the staff hanging out and chatting amongst themselves, and not seeing if they can help a customer. And when you do speak with an associate, some of them make you feel like a burden.

Kitchen Design Review
The project was never completed because of the following;
I Planned with kitchen designers on Three separate visits. Over 6 hours at the store and another Twelve hours at home.
After selecting all the cabinets and counter tops, all the sink, facet, and cabinet handles the price was $20,267.90. My first of three appointments at the store I was quoted an installation price of $5,800.
Home Depot was running a sales promotion of 30%off on the cabinets which I was told ended on January 27,2025. This put the pressure on me to get the Contractor out for preliminary and final measurement and final design completed. I was under the âGUNâ so tho speak.
I tried to find out if since my project was in process and didnât make the date could I still receive the promo discount. I never received an acceptable response. I did cal the toll free number and this was my first experience of text messaging customer service. I wouldnât recommend it.
I asked and was repeated assured the only contractor did great work. The last adjective to describe him was âimpeccable.â
I paid my $149.00 charge to Home Depot for the measurements charge and was told he would contact me within 48 hours. Needless to say, he didnât. Donât ever try and contact a store employee. Itâs a waste of time calling the extension. The call always reverts to the front desk.
Well after speaking to the front desk they had to contact this contractor so he would call me. The burden was on me to find the person to apply the inquiry to get anything done.
He came out, measured and sent me an estimate.
Over $11,000.00!
Iâm a retired professional. I built two offices in my career, working with multiple contractors and tradesmen. Plumbers, electricians, and every kind of individual.
The charge was highly inflated. Over $1,800.00 to install a sink and accessories.
Over $2,000.00 to demo a backsplash and leave me a wall not even painted. I could go on and on.
I called him on it and the price was reduced by eliminating the plumbing and demo of the tile backsplash.
I would have to find these people on my own.
The worst and final straw to show I was being Treated poorly was when I was told it would be 3-5 WEEKS between installation of cabinets and installation of countertops and sink! LIVING WITHOUT A KITCHEN SINK for this LONG?
Who would do that?
He is the only contractor the Home Depot works with!
CONCLUSION: If you have enough Money and donât care about being overcharged, or if you have a camper or RV in your driveway, and finally if you have a relative youâre able to move in with for TWO Months, then use the Home Depot.
I did try and do a google review search on this store but found nothing relevant to this store. It is the NE Mesa store on E. McKellips Rd in Mesa AZ.
I had multiple calls with the store manager,Alec, who did try and help. Alec is an asset to Home Depot for his listening ear and attempts to make things right!
I feel a responsibility to share my experience. If they can make changes to the current situation then by all means use them if you can trust them. But I can discharge my frustration by warning other people.
The pandemic was five years ago. If people had government checks back then, and didnât care about prices that was fine. Today in 2025 very many are now concerned about spending, and debt.
Thank You to Google to providing this review service. Not long ago a consumers only options were a letter to the company owner. If I was to send a letter to the corporate Home Depot would it have done any good?
I would be hard pressed to even find an address.

Every time I have to interact with anyone at customer service itâs always severely unpleasant. You can tell they donât want to be there. Very Frustrating.

I shop at this location regularly when needed. No issues. Kids workshop days. Why does it ask to register online, then told first come first serve when you arrive? Online registration does not guarantee anything? I have a special needs child who can't always come in to the store which is a rule i must have missed and enjoys the projects. I do appreciate the employee who still gave me a kit regardless.

Unbelievably terrible experience. Ordered husky cabinets for my garage on a July 4th sale. Never received confirmation for shipping, until I reached out on July 15th. Delivery scheduled for July 16th. Delivery driver dropped off at the wrong house, I called to have them rectify it, they went and picked it up and then proceeded to damage the boxes on delivery at my house. I reached out to home Depot, sat on hold with a rep for 45 minutes before I hung up and called back for a supervisor. Told the supervisor the situation, asked just to have the unit replaced. They became out of stock. So I sent over the pieces that it would take to put together the same cabinet configuration. They refused to honor it. Home Depot service strikes again.

Customer service is terrible! My wife and I were looking for a part in plumbing and were not able to find it so she walked over to 3 Home Depot employees who were standing there talking to each other and asked if they carried the shark bite product. She was told they were on the aisle that we had been looking. She in turn said that we had looked there and did not see it so instead of walking over to help us one of the employees said to the other
2 employees as my wife walked away "well I guess if you don't see it then we must not have it." The one female employee realized how rude the comment was and proceeded to help my wife and I. She apologized to us for the other employees behavior.
We shop at this store often and this is not the first time we have been treated poorly. Very disappointed that this is the kind of customer service that Home Depot is allowing, makes them look really bad.

Worste customer service I've ever experienced. I don't have enough time I'm my day to explain the pure lack of quality and professionalism from Mark the assistant manager. Horrible.
