Jefferson Park

Hours: Jefferson Park is a truly neighborhood park, described as beautiful, clean, and great. It is a nice place for a picnic with very clean tables, tons of shade, and lots of grass areas. The playground is huge, child-safe, and good, with multiple different play structures—six in total—including a small area for the physically handicapped. It features lots of swings and two zip lines. The park has all the amenities for sports like volleyball and basketball. Restrooms are available, easy to access, and generally clean and well-maintained, though one note mentions they are not the cleanest. It is dog-friendly with very large areas to walk leashed dogs.
