We brought home little Gertie three days ago, and she’s already proving to be the sweetest, most well behaved kitten. We first introduced her in my 19 year old daughter’s room, since it’s tucked away from my younger, louder boys room. She quickly decided that was her safe space. We keep the door open so she can come and go as she pleases, no pressure to her.
Now she’s getting braver with exploring and has even made her way to the back of the house, curling up on my lap in the sunroom office. My boys adore her and are so gentle with her. My 3 year old will happily play with her using the toy fishing pole for half an hour at a time, which is perfect for burning off that kitten energy.
She’s already such a loved little kitty. 🐾 And I have to add, the two ladies who helped us with the adoption were so kind and helpful.❤️

Laurie was extremely rude. Will not be returning or recommending. We have a dog and she refused to adopt out to us unless our dog was spayed or neutered. She then gave multiple lectures about our dog ( not knowing any details only that she was not spayed). She asked us to bring our dog in to see how she did with the cat and we did, dog did perfectly fine, we offered to adopt the kitten we were previously looking at. She refused to do so unless our dog was spayed regardless of how she acted.
She cares more about her personal opinion on a completely different species than finding a home for the kitten. After speaking with others who have had similar encounters. Sad to say anyone with a dog might as well not even try.

This rescue is great! Laurie and the rest of the volunteers really care about the cats and finding the perfect homes for them. We adopted our crazy orange girl from there and she fits perfectly with our family.

Terrible place, they are extremely unprofessional. The place is not clean. They are not there to help anyone but themselves. Stay away from the facility.

Located inside petsmart.
Absolutely wonderful experience adopting a kitten from this rescue. You can tell Laurie cares deeply about making sure these cats go to great loving homes. She even cut coupons out of the petsmart book for me and walked me around the store helping me find the sales on everything. Our kitten had been well cared for and socialized and it showed immediately after we got him home. He took to his new home fast and is the biggest cuddle puddle! Thank you Laurie and staff!!!

My fiancé and I recently visited a rescue to check out the available pets. We weren’t planning to adopt right away, but I was hoping to see if I was ready to bring home a new cat after the passing of my 16-year-old cat a few years ago. Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn when we were asked a few questions:
Do we have a dog? Yes.
Has the dog been around cats? Yes.
Do you have a dog door? Yes.
Once we mentioned the dog door, the woman at the rescue immediately went into a long explanation about how dog doors are dangerous for cats. She mentioned the risk of predators and insisted that she couldn’t adopt a cat to us because of the dog door.
I was honestly shocked. I’ve had cats all my life, and I've never had an issue with them using a dog door. Where I live, there aren’t any predators to worry about, so this felt like an unreasonable reason to turn us away.

My roommate and I had such an amazing experience getting our first cat here! Laurie in particular was amazing! She helped us every step of the way and is very educated and dedicated to helping these kitties. Our girl has been with us for a couple of weeks now and she is just the perfect addition. She came vaccinated and spayed as well! If anyone is looking to rescue a kitty cat I would highly recommend this place!

Susan at this location is absolutely disgusting and has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. Started the conversation at 5:30 with "what do you want" and then told my kittens i was holding were adopted because she was told i would be there at 4:30 when I told KKR i would not get off of work until 5. In the worst possible attitude she went on and on about how we were late so its our fault. When my teenage daughter (who never speaks up) asked her to not give attitude because of how bad it was, she called my daughter nasty. Then proceeded to yell at me and my 3 daughters inside of petsmart. when i called to complain the lady said she has heard many complaints about Susan due to her personality. Maybe that is a sign for change? Absolutely do not recommend!

We went here twice during the working hour according to the times in the picture, and they were closed with a note on the door( mentioning that they closed early today). I wish they would have updated their schedule because it was quite a drive for us.

I have adopted four different cats from Kitty Kat Rescue over the past ten years. Each of these cats have been the most loving, sweet kitties I have ever known. Laurie, the woman who runs this place, is absolutely amazing. You can tell she cares a LOT about her cats, and wants to make sure that every single cat she adopts out goes to their forever home. The fact that other reviewers are giving negative reviews because THEY had to re-home a pet is disgusting. At what point does you being a poor home mean that the rescue is at fault? You failed your cat and have only you to blame. Pinning it on the rescue, who trusted you to take care of their cat, is cruel. There is no rescue in the world that can take every single cat out there. It just cannot be done. There are millions of stray, homeless cats. Blaming a rescue for not having unlimited funds and room for cats is silly. This is fantastic rescue, and they don't deserve negative reviews for something they cannot help.

They are lovely people doing something most of us wouldn't have the courage, patience, nor determination to do on a daily basis. They rescue literally hundreds of cats and kittens. We sincerely thank them for all they do, and so do the two cats we rescued through them. Because of Kitty Kat rescue, they are healthy and happy kitties living in their forever home.
