Service advisor Brandon is incompetent and clearly doesn’t know how to listen to the customers. I told him I wanted a synthetic blend oil change. He proceeds to give me a full synthetic oil change and charges me for the higher price. After arguing that I clearly stated synthetic blend oil change, he agrees to charge me the lower price. After paying and looking at the receipt, I noticed he charged me $5 more than the listed price of a synthetic blend oil change. I paid by credit card and asked for a price adjustment. He steps away and comes back and gives me $5 in cash. He tells me that I am not welcome back to the store after all of HIS mistakes. He needs a lesson on customer service skills, listening skills, and professionalism!!

Dont even go here to save money on an oil change they’re gonna tell you your car needs a bunch of parts replaced that don’t need to be replaced and it gonna be thousands fix. Like that song from the 80s Midas touch turns everything to gold.. well not here everything they touch turns to complete crap

whoever answered the phone at 2:56 on december 16th is “literally” so rude I was just asking questions about a transmission fluid change and he’s gonna be rude and say literally this and literally that. “literally” this place is rude and I won’t be going here

The Most Unprofessional Experience – Go Anywhere but Here!
I have never encountered such a disappointing and unprofessional experience as I did at the Midas on Power and Southern. I arrived at 11 am for a simple service, quoted 45 minutes to an hour, which seemed reasonable. Instead, I ended up waiting for HOURS with zero communication and constant lies from the manager. Multiple times I was told “10 more minutes,” or “it should be done soon”—only to find out at 2:13 pm that they were just then sending someone to pick up the filter!
I had mentioned upfront that I needed to leave to pick up my child 30 minutes away by 2:55 pm, yet this was completely disregarded. Meanwhile, I watched mechanics lounging around on their phones, showing no urgency or respect for customer time.
The signs in the lobby boldly state, “Don’t put up with it.” This is laughable coming from a place that defines bad service: endless waiting, blatant lies, zero communication, and absolute disrespect. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that values your time and respects their customers.

Saturday call to Juan to ask about installing a muffler I just had delivered to my house. Silverado Duramax with a 4" exhaust. Its raining, I just wanted to have them swap it out and pay for the labor. Juan said they wont install customer parts, I asked if they carried the brand I purchased, I would buy theirs and return mine. They did, I asked for pricing and was told $894 complete. I asked for a breakdown, their price for the muffler was $799. I explained I just purchased the identical muffler, (part number checked for accuracy) at a cost of $180, that's the over the counter price to anyone. Midas gets a cheaper price as they are a national chain. Juan stated "that's our price for that muffler" and didn't think anything was out of line. I asked if he thought that was fair, he just repeated "that's our price on the muffler". Marking up a part over 450% is price gouging. They didn't get my business, and I will call the manufacturer of the muffler to inform them of this shops excessive pricing. Get an estimate before any work is performed, in writing.

I had an appointment for an oil change at 1pm. I got here a couple minutes before to check in. The pulled my Jeep in a couple minutes after. This has been the longest oil change I have ever experienced in my life. I usually go to Meineke and they take about 30-45minutes MAYBE. It took 2 hours here. I had to cancel an engagement I planned due to the long time it took for the oil change. The staff was nice but the wait was just too long.

Manager is very unprofessional. I would not recommend, overpriced, and did not want to help jump vehicle after I declined service. Said we’d have to push the car out of the bay and figure it out ourselves.

Didn’t do a complete job! Didn’t fill up any of the fluids for my car, left my tires well below PSI, my change oil light is still on and on top of that did not honor the coupon I had that expires in October. Definitely will not be going there again or using Midas ever!

Try to charge $1150 for an 08 Nissan Altima alternator replacement. Then when I said no thanks the manager stated that their jumper was out of juice (even though the jumper plugs into an outlet) so I'd have to push my car out of the bay. Thankfully another worker helped me and jumped my car.

The Midas on Southern & Power actually has awesome customer service which I thought had disappeared from our world years ago. Jim Marco certainly went the extra mile to get me on the road again, he deserves a raise/ bonus maybe both for his efficiency
I will be recommending Midas and Jim to everyone

I was not totally satisfied with my service because I had to have another mechanic call you to get my warranty honored for my Battery to be replaced when it was only 8 months old and was not able to be driven to your business at the time. It would have been a lot better customer service to not have to stress about using my warranty if I did not have argue through the whole procedure.

Quick and very friendly. I appreciate the electronic notifications and approval process, this is so convenient during a busy day. My vehicle drives great. (Visit was for Rear brake system issues)
