Vaccine injury.
My wife scheduled an appointment to get my toddler a flu vaccine. When we were called to go into the patient room the provider Tiffany Herriage NP did not interact with our daughter at all. She quickly went to give the vaccine to our daughter without giving us instructions like the other times she got vaccines. She acted like our daughter is an adult and knew what to expect. When the provider went so quickly, without the usual instructions to hold her it caught me off guard. My daughter punched the needle away causing the needle to bend and left a significant scratch on my 2 year old’s leg. When she did the vaccine again there was a similar awkward action as my daughter squirmed. To the point, this provider doesn’t seem to be skilled with young children. She also lacked compassion for the painful scratch my daughter has. We will never use CVS again as a result.
CVS responded with Please call us to assist us directly. After the frustrating cascade of prompts that did not have an option for customer support, I spoke to an agent that had no clue what to do with my call. She asked what she could help me with. I said I’m not sure, your company asked me to call. Obviously they didn’t expect me to call, nor have any channels to address my concerns. Typical corporate cattle shoot customer service. Get em in, get em out. I will refer to them as “We Don’t Caremark” in the future.

First time visit to this CVS minute clinic. Reason for visiting was to get vaccinations for myself and spouse. I had scheduled an appointment so we got in within minutes of our arrival. Practioner was pleasant, knowledeable, and answered our questions. We were in and out with 15 minutes. Would recommend this location.

Charging $100 plus cost of perscription is too much for simple travel perscription!

CVS at McDowell and recker is a great pharmacy, really helpful group of people. Had a rashes, the pharmacist helped me find a solution! Arthritis meds. Made me sick to stomach, pharmacist found the right meds. To stop the burning pain. Great guy.

My wife has a really bad cold and is diabetic which causes a cold to last about a month and the person she saw just told her to let it run its coarse. No antibiotics no cough syrup. She has to sleep sitting in the couch because lying in bed she just coughs all night and doesn't get any sleep. Hope younsleep well at night.

Don't go here for a DOT EXAM because the CPAP police who works here doesn't fully understand the federal policy in which it is the best interests of the patient and will potentially financially fleece you. As mentioned to Ashley Young NP, I went in with a month left on my current DOT health certificate and was informed at least 4hours a day, 70% of 30 days usage proof must be provided and will charge a recheck fee in 30 days. Then return in 45 days to pay full price again to receive a DOT health certificate for an undisclosed amount of time based on her professional opinion.*In the best medical and financial interests of the patient Ashley should have excused me when I wanted to leave and explained, "Go use your CPAP machine for 30 days with proof of usage come back at which time I'll write a 45 day medical pending and do a recheck then to save you quite a bit of money as well as, it'll be in your best interests." So there you have it, I'll be paying for two DOT EXAMS @$120 each plus a recheck fee; I just got back to trucking after a lengthy sabbatical, no longer on state aid or AHCCCS as of September 1st and already getting fleeced by the institutional system. This is a perfect example of why commercial truck drivers openly state that the medical professional community, CPAP machine manufacturers and FMCSA are all in kahoots to make money through regulations. Proof is in the pudding!

would give zero stars if I could. unhelpful, rude, and full of excuses on why she can not do her job properly.First of all, watch how you talk to people, or you might just regret it. Second of all, see you next tuesday.

The only reason this isn’t a 1 star is because the nurse who did my first visit for the first part of a TB test was so nice and so hope you get her! I came back for 2nd appt and the NP Tejada gave me some of the worst patient service ever. I was maybe 5 minutes late and was fine waiting because I was late but he was so unbelievably rude. Did not even look at me once and was very passive aggressive. All he had to do was look at my arm and he made it seem as though I was the biggest inconvenience in the world. I understand it’s the end of the day but every patient deserves quality care. If you go to this MinuteClinic, make sure it’s not when Tejada is working. Terrible experience.

I don’t know why people are leaving bad reviews for this Minute Clinic, or for Velma Tucker. My experience was fantastic from start to finish. No wait time AT ALL and everyone was professional and courteous. I’ve had an ongoing issue with my ears…pain, hearing loss, and dizziness. I thought it was an ear infection, but no…something much more embarrassing, embedded ear wax! Gross! Velma Tucker was very knowledgeable and patient with me while undergoing an uncomfortable (I’m a big baby) and embarrassing procedure. She was successful in removing all the gunk and I can hear again! No more pain or dizziness. Lesson learned…DO NOT use Q-tips in an attempt to remove ear wax! Velma Tucker is a rock star practitioner! I highly recommend this Minute Clinic! ?

I would like to inform individuals that use this minute clinic that the healthcare providers they hire make quick, wrong judgments about people as well as use non inclusive language. They used unprofessional language by calling a patient “fat” and informing them that they must have had a stroke or a seizure as a child based on their speech impediment. Do not go to this place of business as this behavior is despicable.

My 23 year old daughter sought care for a very sore throat, fever, and large white patch in the back of her throat. Velma Tucker NP initially could not see the spot in the back of her throat. It's large and I have a picture of it. My daughter had to ask her 3 times to please look. Velma Tucker NP advised my daughter that she probably has a fever because her period is due soon. On the 3rd look Velma Tucker NP could see the white patch. She asked my daughter if she had an STD. My daughter is not sexually active. It would have been fine to ask is she was sexually actively. Velma Tucker NP looked at my daughter in disgust when she asked. The strep test came back negative and Velma Tucker NP diagnosed a mouth ulcer. No antibiotics, no mention of care that could help resolve her pain and fever. It is not acceptable to tell a woman their throat pain and fever is due to their period. Suggesting an STD without asking if someone is sexually active is also unacceptable. Horrendous healthcare experience. One star to allow to post.
