Less "people of Walmart-y" than other locations. Well organised and large sized store. Aisles weren't that crowded. A much better experience than ASU Walmart. B+

I am at Walmart on Greenfield and Baseline in Mesa Arizona to get an oil change. The representative behind the counter is overworked and frustrated and you can fill it because you do not feel customer service. I have been told it is a three and a half hour wait. Why do I have to sit and wait. We spend all this money at these corporations they have less employees but they're pocketing our money and giving us the worst service in the 40 years I've been born. Close some stores do whatever you need to do but you need more employees to service us or we need to stop spending our money with companies like this.

We have used the grocery pickup service at this Walmart location for four years. It was a model of efficiency early in the COVID pandemic. Associates were fast, courteous, and Walmart took advantage of curbside technology. However, lately, including today, we could not get an associate to answer the phone when we called to announce our arrival. We had to pound on the delivery door to see what happened to our order and when someone did come the loading area he told us we didn't have an order. We did, and after some prodding, he discovered our order that was ready and waiting to be picked up. An adult loaded the order while a juvenile loaded one item and went back to playing on his cell phone. Walmart regional office needs to do some serious associate attitude inspection of this location, Or, maybe Walmart doesn't care.

you close the automotive department at 7 , why do you turn away consumers at 6:15? Not to mention I pulled up at 6 . Called to confirm the details of our transaction and to make sure the parts I needed were in stock. I waited for 20 minutes until someone came up to me vehicle and the first thing the representative of Walmart automotive said was " we're not taking anymore cars today" no type of greeting was attempted. My problem is that customer service was non existent. I immediately told him that is not how the interaction should go. Plus the representative of Walmart automobile department didn't even know why I was here or what service I was needing. I assume they just wanted to go home. I wasn't going to leave this review because I know that Walmart treats their employees poorly. That's a fact not an opinion. I didn't want to ruin anyone's day with this review but I couldn't allow for my experience to go untold / unheard. If you close at 7 then you should take cars until 6:45. You might ask yourself why should we? The simple answer is that people are desperate for automotive service and Walmart provides great deals. Please treat your employees with honor and dignity so that they can be passionate and present in their current position. I also understand that it is the end of the week and the end of the day. I also realize that they work in the heat all day. I spoke with the manager in person today as well. She said she would handle it. I'm not sure if that means anyone will be reprimanded but I'm sure they had a nice conversation about how to treat customers. I'm not mean or nasty and I didn't have to raise my voice or curse to be heard. So I appreciate that. I shouldn't be concerned about the mental health of employees that are not employed by me, but I will add that is it necessary for Walmart to take steps to appropriately appreciate their workers because when they aren't treated properly then that bleeds into how they converse with customers. In total I waited for an hour and fifteen minutes for a battery change with only 2 cars ahead of me.I wish the best for the people I spoke with today but I'm hoping that they will learn something from this review.

The one in black polo shirt and beige pants is Poor customer service, disrespectful to customers who are asking for assistance, rude, this person just takes you as a joke & laugh at you, asked for help and this person said he couldn't hear me but everyone else could, this Walmart needs to hire people who are respectful, helping customers who need assistance, retrain this person who needs to respect customers who need help.

This is one of the few Walmarts in the area that sell live worms! It is right off the 202, so if you're on your way to the salt river, or any of its lakes, it's a great stop to get supplies and bait!

I went to the Autocenter at this Mesa Walmart because I had issues with a battery purchase. I would like to say that the person who helped us, Lala went above and beyond. However the care, concern and thorough explanation of what our issue was and how she took care of us seemed like that was her normal customer service. Which was exceptional! Great customer service is becoming non existent. Especially at Walmart. She did a fine job. I am a satisfied customer and will come here for my Auto needs even though I live in Phoenix. Thanks again Lala!

AUTO CENTER is a complete waste and the short, little, round, African American boss lady was pretty funny. I drove away with 4 brand new tires and had not even left the lot yet when all four tires popped. I had the car towed back to the store and the manager said she couldn't do anything because the air pressure was off. Ummm obviously it was off and you were the last ones (only ones) to touch these tires and the tires popped. Manager refused to replace even tho it was their mistake and / or faulty tires. I wonder if it was because I identified as a "mouse" rather than human and that offended her. Who knows, and who cares. Do yourself a favor and literally go anywhere else for tires or auto service.

If I could give them negative stars I would!!Customer service is a joke! Tried to call CS to see if my wallet was in their lost and found. They either don't answer, or pick it up and put you on eternal hold, or pick it up and hang up on you! The store is dirty. Many products are locked up so you have to find a non-existent worker to unlock the item so you can buy it. They stop you without saying anything and stare at you till you produce a receipt - assuming that everyone that walks out of the store is a thief! I live a block from this store, but usually drive to the Neighborhood Walmart on Lindsey/McKellips or for additional items they don't carry, I drive to the Super Walmart on Greenfield/McKellips!

I tried to get on walmart.com to send my review to corporate, but couldn't figure out where. Anyway, this store is usually a hot mess including their staff. But i wanted to say that despite how messy this store was yesterday, i had a really great experience from a cashier named davonta (hope i spelled it correct). He was a smiles from the second i got in line to pay. He was so nice and pleasant asking how my day has been etc. Its very rare to see an employee here be remotely corteous, but he was the exception. I wish people could be more like him. It made my day to receive service with a smile. Thank you so much! (The stars are for davonta not the store)

They make it so difficult to pick up an order. After purchasing they said to pick it up at customer service so I went in there and the lady at the desk with the infected-looking mole on her face was very rude. She said "you can't pick up here. Go find a stall and call the number." I asked what stalls she was referring to and she gestured vaguely and said "over the somewhere" I also asked what number she was referring too and she said "I don't know why don't you google it" I found the area around the back of the building that is labelled "pickups" and there was an old sign with a number on it, but the number goes straight to a voicemail recording of a despondent woman saying they are closed on Wednesdays and the mailbox is full.

I was in dire need of a quick oil change... I called all the Wally World automotives near me and all were closed or did not answer. As soon as I called they were prompt to answer! I showed up to get my services done, no line or long wait! (Thankfully!) I was greeted by a gentleman named Mike. He was unbelievably kind and welcoming, it was refreshing! I knew my car would be in good hands. He popped my car hood and took his time educating me on some things I didn't know. He was so kind and made sure all my questions were answered. He went over all the details and made sure I didn't leave without feeling content about everything. Yes, it was a simple oil change but Mike really went out of his way to assist me and treat me like family, not just another customer. I will definitely be back for any other needed services in the future! Thanks again!

I had to get new tires. I made an appointment. I waited for 3 1/2 hours. I had a hazard warrantee, to cover my new tires (if I were to get a hole in the tires, etc.). I got a hole in the tire. Called to make an appointment, but they said that they weren't busy, and I could just show up. I waited for 3 hours for them to change the tire. It actually only took 15 minutes to process my car. I wish I could get that 2¾ hours of my life back. Take your tires somewhere else. Anywhere else.
