Super friendly staff, modern technology, and beautiful selection of glasses.

Had a wonderful experience with staff and doctor. Haven’t had my vision checked in a few years and had a baby so I knew there were changes. Doctor explained things clearly and even told me what to look out for with my daughter as she gets older. Staff was very nice and helped answer all my questions.

The eye exam went well, they couldn’t find my insurance so I didn’t order my glasses. When I called back to tell them I had spoke to the insurance and relayed that they needed to call them. She immediately said we don’t call and I’m not going to call. I was flabbergasted to say the least. Eventually she agreed to call them. I had made up my mind at this point I wasn’t going to order from them. She called back saying she spoke to someone and they told her we didn’t have insurance which is an absolute lie. I called to verify with they insurance and yes I do have insurance. The girl was so rude, I d never go there again. Too bad because the doctor is very nice, office manners are a real thing and she’s got staff who are hurting her practice.

Check in was simple and easy, the doctor visit was rough for me because my eyes are so bad so I did have trouble reading the letters, but that helps the doctor determine my correct prescription for my glasses. Dr. Vega was super nice and so professional. Everything was great and the staff were so fun and easy to work with! Can’t wait to get my new glasses AND contacts!

I have been here a couple of times now, each time all employees treat me very nice. I see Dr. Vega for my eye exams and I have a double vision problem she is helping me with even when all the eye specialists say there is nothing they can do. She is patient, thorough, good natured, and very intelligent.Tiffany and Amy easy to work with. I'm on a budget and Amy (or it could be Tif?) helped me sort through all the options. After just a few minutes of study she showed me how I could save about $400 on my new RayBan sunglasses. I would recommend making this your go to eye care stop!

I went to this Pearl Vision store in March this year. Dr.Vega is extremely friendly and professional with my exam.I last had my eye exam a few years ago so I was over due.I have to say is was the the most comfortable, exam I've ever had. The office staff is very pleasant. I recently developed a problem with my left ?. I have a stigmatism in that eye .It was always difficult for previous doctors to get my prescription right but she did a great job. It is the very best I've seen in years. Any way I got in quickly and Dr reexamine my vision which hasn't changed thank goodness, but my stigmatism has gotten worse. So she made a refer with a eye surgeon. So hopefully I will have a remedy to this problem. I highly recommend Dr.Vega for your eye needs.

These people are completely ignorant, they said they accepted our insurance and everything was good. I brought in my family of 5 for appointments and they couldn’t figure out the insurance online. I made the appointments over a week in advance and they waited until we were sitting in the office to verify anything. If they say they accept your insurance double check for yourself because even if they do they’re too ignorant to know how to do the paperwork correctly

Great first experience! After finally getting health insurance I decided to schedule an eye exam for the first time in nearly 10 years. After learning I needed full time glasses the store associates were so helpful with guiding me through the frame picking process. Really appreciated the help and the doctor was very thorough and explained everything perfectly.

Two hours before my appointment I received a text that I needed to my appointment I got a message that I had to complete my encrypted paperwork PRIOR to arrival. It took 30 minutes to complete. Then when I got to my appointment I was asked to sit down and wait. I waited 50 minutes and no one said a word to me. I finally got up and left. These folks obviously don't care about their patients and don't deserve my business.

Today was my first experience at this Pearle Vision. The doctor and staff were very professional. My exam was very well done. I have yet to purchase glasses as I need my daughters to help me choose the right pair.

This review is specifically for the Eastmark location (near Signal Butte and Point 22) in Mesa, AZ. The doctor's name is Dr. Vega and she has been the best optometrist that I have seen in my entire (nearly 50 year old) life. I rarely write reviews (who has the time?), but I felt so convicted to reach out and let folks know that this doctor really knows her stuff. I am a full time working artist and my eyes are really crucial. I went to another place over the summer and had the worst experience (up in the Red Mountain area). I felt they took advantage of me in some respects and my eyes felt vulnerable in their care. They kept re-ordering prescriptions (last count, I went in over 8 times!) and the main doctor never stepped in to help. SO, after all of that, I felt like I really needed a second opinion. That is when I went to Pearl Vision at Eastmark.Right away, when walking in, Amy (the receptionist) greeted me. She was very welcoming and gave me all the information that I needed. Emily, the optician, even came over to help answer questions, and that was all before I even had an official appointment. I truly felt like they cared and listened to me.Now, all these critical reviews seem to focus on timing. First, I would MUCH rather a doctor be thorough and actually care than to be on time. Sorry, but if you are looking for a 5 minute appointment then maybe this isn't the place for you. Dr. Vega was so, so thorough. Unbelievably so. I have never felt so cared for and, I definitely felt her acknowledgement of the importance of my sight for my work. I was so relieved to hear that she could address my astigmatism. I wear gas perm lenses, which are a tricky fit, and she took so much time to make sure the prescription would be optimal for my daily needs. Instead of just blindly prescribing something, she actually took the time to understand how I used my eyes. I know that sounds weird, but if you are someone who wears contacts, but still needs readers then you know it is a "dance" to find the best compromise between long and near distance. Dr. Vega actually accomplished a miracle. I no longer need readers for every text that comes in or food label that I want to read. How amazing!I really can't recommend this place enough. I can't speak to other locations or doctors, but I do know that if she ever leaves this place, I would track her down and drive across town to still see her for my annual exams. So, if you are looking for a doctor and practice that actually cares about giving you the best sight you can have, then I fully recommend this place. If however, you want a five minute check or you get upset if they are running behind (because they are taking time with someone before you) then maybe look elsewhere. I do know that these people are so swamped. Their corporate office should allow them to focus on just the Eastmark location. Sadly, that is beyond their control. I am strictly reviewing the actual doctor and the people who helped me- Dr. Vega, Emily, and Amy. They are truly the best and I am still feeling fortunate to have met them, weeks after my last appointment.

Prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. Made me feel comfortable and helped me pick the right glasses to fit my face and style.

Having your hours vary week to week is incredibly difficult for your clients. Due to a relatively normal work schedule, I have not been able to pickup my contacts for a week. Randomly closed entire days of the week and only being open from 9 -1 on others is ridiculous. Consistent hours would be beneficial as well as being open late enough for people who work to swing by afterwards.

Save your time and go to Lens Crafters. I should’ve read the reviews on this place. THIRTY SIX DAYS and waiting for two pair of glasses (ordered 12/15).I can’t believe they’re still in business with how incompetent they are. Me and my three kids came here on DEC 15 for eye exams and to order glasses. The exams were ok although they try to UPSELL you on everything. The glasses ordering was unremarkable. Then they told me it’s be two weeks for glasses or longer because of the holidays. When I called after the holidays to find out where the glasses were they told me they only ordered two of the four because VSP had problems the day we were in their office. When I called VSP they said they did have problems that day but it wouldn’t have affected ordering glasses/coverage. In face, they said what Pearle Vision was saying to me was a straight up LIE! There’s ZERO proof that they ever ordered the glasses (yet they took my cash and ran my VSP for eye exam with no problems) but it was showing eye exams for all 4 of us AND two pairs were ordered and approved through VSP already.I’ve called Pearle Vision multiple times checking on this order and I get a different answer everytime. From lab problems (they had no problems getting 2 pair made in less than 2 weeks after the order was placed) to shipping issues to VSP.Long story short, it has now been THIRTY SIX days and we STILL don’t have glasses for two people. Now they’re blaming UPS and the lab again. Give me a break! I won’t be coming back to this horrible place again.
