This QuikTrip is still new enough that their Icee (not called Icee) always has all the flavors working! We've been stopping by once a week! I will say the one time we did order food from the grill they were a little slow but besides that great QT!

My wife told me this evening about this new location, which is very close to our house, but east of Ellsworth on Elliot, a road we never go down. We love QT and we’ve been driving about 2 miles to a QT north of us. We were so excited to try it out tonight after my son’s strings recital. I was taking the family there to get shakes. Every QT I’ve entered since they opened in Arizona has had great, friendly staff. Sadly, tonight was the exception. To settle a friendly debate with my family on how long this location has been open, I asked the only clerk behind the counter, “When did THIS store open?” He told me that QT is open 24 hours. “Right, but when did this particular location open its doors for business?” He replied, “It’s my first day,” as he looked down and processed my purchase. “That’s awesome, but has it been open just a few weeks, or a few months? We’ve never seen the store before today,” I explained. Then, in a very condescending and rude tone, he stared at me and said, “Like I said, today is my first day. How would I know that?” My wife, kids, and I were in complete shock. It was way over the top. Doing what he should have done in this situation, I walked over to another employee restocking a shelf and asked him. He informed me that it opened just a few months ago, on Halloween. I returned to the counter to make a second purchase and informed him of the information that took me three seconds to obtain. He thanked me and then told me he was not trying to be condescending earlier, but that he really had no idea. He realized he screwed up, as he clearly knew he was rude and condescending to us. When management sees this, I hope they take action and give this tall guy a refresher on customer service. I’ll drive 2 miles to my friendly QT. Today is January 28, 2025.

My whole family is so excited for this location to open! What a great place to put a convenience station. Everything was clean, efficient, and wonderful. Gasoline is up and running. This is a fully armed and operational battle station.
