Good selection & good coupons for discounts

Store # 1637 is where I shop most often. The store personnel are very pleasant for the most part but this morning I encountered a rude and patronizing cashier at the self check out station. She came across snarky almost implying that us seniors are forgetful or don't know how to navigate a simple store app. My final total did not reflect my digital coupons nor my senior discount (as I clip prior to arriving at store) The first comment from this girl was that I didn't clip my coupons whereupon I showed my phone with the obvious clipped coupons then she had the gall to accuse me of not putting in the correct phone number (I've had the same # for over 10 years) instead of correcting the register all she wanted to do was argue with me. This store needs to train this young woman on customer relations or she needs to find a position that does not put her in contact with the aging public. I want also to remind the powers to be at Safeway stores that your app does have some major issues resulting in glitches at the checkout stations.

Great deals on meat when you can find them in stock. Friendly, helpful butcher. Things don't always ring up accurately. Pay attention at checkout and look at your receipt.

This location is near my work and I sometimes go here again proven to be rude with a second degree I have been shopping at Safeway for over 40 years at different locations for family members before I moved out here very disappointed about the two Safeway's that are here in the neighborhood!

It never fails that every time I come here, multiple employees are sitting out front smoking cigarettes just several feet away from the front door. Absolutely disgusting.
