I've been shopping here for years and never had any issues until today. The meat department has a "new policy" and would not slice meat for me after saying he would. The guy immediately gathered the other members of the meat department to discuss the "new policy." Thumbs down for todays customer service. I will be shopping elsewhere.

The Bakery at this Store reminds me of the "Bakeries" growing up! The Selection is insane! My Wife ordered to have a cake delivered from Door Dash and got a Delicious double layered cake. My Mother in Law and I like the fresh made bagels in the morning time. Closing I'd like to give a shout out to Getty in the Bakery you manage to Top yourself time after time!

Im not from here and recently found out that I am pregnant. My children and I go often to this particular store because we stay in walking distance and the staff are usually very helpful. I sent my children and a adult family member to get my WIC. They had a difficult time and came out feeling defeated and hungry. I witness one of the few employees they had to ask tell them that she can't help them because they should know what items to get! If they were better labeled I think that would help! Or better yet educate the staff as to what items are on WIC! That way they can educate the customer instead of coming of in such a manner.

Deli Department06-17-2023This morning I received outstanding service from all three persons in the deli department. The new employee in the deli department - sorry I didn't get his name as he was busy- , is a winner. Make sure to keep him, as well as the others. An absolute pleasure to shop in this store where all employees are in a good mood. The employees for evening shift are rude and disrespectful. They will talk about customers and when confronted think a discount will fix it. I don't need your discount. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it or at least wait until the person won't hear you. This location was my exclusive stop for since the pandemic started and now I will not return unless absolutely necessary.

Nice very clean store, found fresh cod in the meat dept. Good fish is hard to find. Used the pharmacy for the first time they were very helpful

I went here regularly till, they refused to make a sandwich because someone called in sick that day... they had 0 in line. I know she felt as lazy as she seemed telling me this.Then what seemed to be the dely manager charge me 1 dollar for 1 extra slice of cheese on a sandwich. (Hope it was well worth the dollar to eliminate a customer)I have now stopped asking for service from everyone that doesn't want to offer the service I'm charged for.

My husband went into Safeway to withdraw travel cash from the US Bank outpost while I waited in the car. This was supposed to be a quick in and out. For whatever reason, the female Caucasian teller decided my 71 year old, 350-pound husband was a threat/robber/whatever when he gave her the withdrawal slip for his account and with the aid of the male Caucasian in charge, called the police. Without any provocative behavior, the police came, consulted with the bank's personnel, and the clerk handed my husband's money to him without benefit of an envelope. The police proceeded to "question" my husband in the parking lot with people driving by, staring. The police told him there had been a "fraud alert issued in Florida." No fraud alert could be found when we began asking questions of US Bank. My husband was hurt, embarrassed, and humiliated by this incident. US Bank has done nothing to make him whole. Safeway will not go out of business because we will not shop in their store, and US Bank will not fold because we ended our 20+ years "relationship" with them but I will not be going back to a store that allows this to occur under their roof.

Very disappointed in this professionalism of this pharmacy. Called 3 times over the course of 5 hours to get a prescription filled. The first time they were on lunch, called back to follow up since I hadn't heard back after 2 1/2hrs and went to voicemail again, left another message letting them know I was following up. The third time I called a person picked up and put me on hold only to go to voicemail again. Don't go here if you want to get a prescription filled in a timely manner.
