Rude, 1 time is too much, but 3 times now and we've watched it happen to others. I'm sure from looking at other reviews, there will be a rude follow up comment from the store ... point made.

This is a great "mom and pop" operation rather than the corporate owned postal businesses. The individuals at Shipping by ELI tailor the shipping needs by cost, time, etc. I appreciate their counsel and great customer experience. Please note that the phone number listed on Yelp is incorrect and needs to be corrected.

I have been going to Eli's shipping for the last 6 years, and they have always provided great service. I do not understand these negative reviews. I have NEVER witnessed employees being mistreated, nor have they ever been rude to me. I would rather go to this small business than the Post Office. I was there on 12/18/2023 only to purchase a stamp they had a line to the door with customers trying to mail Christmas packages, and I was in and out pretty quick. Keep up your great customer service!

We have had the box at Shipping By Eli for about a year. The Owner needs to sell this business and go find something else to do with his time. Customer service isn't one of those. He's a grouch and a bully. I have several packages a week and a lot of company mail delivered there every week. I have witnessed the owner getting very aggressive and verbally abusive with several customers many elderly, including me. I own and operate several businesses and am in there picking up my mail almost daily. I went in November 2023 to pick up my mail and the line was out the door. When it was finally my turn I asked the man helping me (he said he was the owner) if there was a way I could pick up my mail quicker, since I'm in there every day, his response was " find another place to get your mail, close your box". I was floored that the owner would talk to me that way. I responded that I used to like this place. I was in there yesterday 12/18/23, same thing again, a line to the door. After I waited in line for my turn the young employee went to the back and retrieved my package, I asked if I had any mail he said no, there was mail back there but they were too busy to sort it. I said I was expecting some checks and could he look ? He came out with a stack of mail and was looking through it for my mail. The owner almost ran across the room and grabbed it from him then said you'lI have to come back later. It was 4:00 pm. I told him I don't have time to come back later and wait in the line again. He just looked away and started to help the guy behind me. DO NOT OPEN A NON REFUNDABLE BOX OR DO ANY KIND OF SHIPPING WITH THIS JERK, there are other shipping companies that won't abuse you or your grandmother. I will close my box when it is up for renewal.

I've had a mailbox here for well over a year, and I had one of the WORST experiences ever. The owner is a bully, aggressive and argumentative. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I had a package shipped to New Orleans for work. It was to be there on a Monday morning at the latest. It was delayed multiple times and arrived Tuesday evening and I was unable to use it. I contacted UPS about a refund, they said to contact the shipper... which was Eli's Shipping. I talked with the front end staff about what happened and Eli came out quickly and was obviously irritated. His voice was raised and he was aggressive. He said UPS would just say no refund on delays. He added, almost yelling... "I'm telling you this to your face." I had brought up an issue six months ago about mail I didn't receive. Even then he was aggressive, saying "It's a US Postal Service Problem" and how they're "Out to get the little guys." Back to this one. He continued to raise his voice. I asked "You're not willing to even try" to which he ranted about his time being valuable, again raised voice, and something to the effect of "Wouldn't you say my time is valuable?" He was now 3/4 of the way over the counter towards me. He almost yelled: "I know this so well that I'm willing to risk your business!" I told him he had. He slammed his finger on the computer mouse - aggressively blurting "Done!" I asked for a prorated refund as I'd only used two months on my payment for year two He belligerently said, "Nope, it's in your contract." He repeated that as if "I've got ya." No body, let alone a customer, deserves to be treated in the manner Eli, the owner of this business, did.

They treat every customer with respect and act like they are glad you are a customer. They work FAST! I love that they price compare with all the available shippers is USPS, UPS, etc and offer to you which carrier is the lowest price for when you want your package to arrive. I have always experienced GREAT Customer Service.

This place goes above and beyond every time I come in- My family uses shopping by Eli exclusively because of how helpful and attentive all of the employees are! They have made us custom sized boxes-, always ensure our items are packaged with care and go out of their way to ensure our packages are delivered as promptly and inexpensively as possible!!! Great service every time!!!

I do not support any business that can't treat their own employees with respect. The second you walk through the door, you will feel how uncomfortable every employee here is. I felt bad for everyone working under his direction and the things he said to them while working. I work in logistics management and good training programs and employee support are so important. Without it, customer support and business will suffer. Do better.

I have been coming to shipping by Eli for years, but will no longer be doing so nor will I refer people here. the customer service used to be great but then the owner changed and I've had nothing but awkward and uncomfortable experiences since. The first incident, i was dropping off packages for usps as I had a hundred times before. Chris would go on about how he looses so much and I should just take them to the post office because when lines are long it's a hassle for him. Ok, I can understand not liking dealing with the post office but it is a service offered. the second incident was quite similar, even though I had purchased shipping and packaging this time he still mumbled under his breath about how he hates dealing with usps. the third and final incident, i purchased shipping for a necklace and after providing prices, he made it clear that the liability was on me and if something happened he wouldn't chase them for my money (he Spoke as if I'm a tone of it's your problem not mine. I understand this, but his demeanor is that of someone who is irritated with the customer because he has to deal with usps. Then evidently he was upset that I didn't vocalize a response (because I felt super awkward with his tone and irritated attitude) and he mumbles again that people ignore him all the time and it's really rude. chris, I suggest if you don't like dealing with USPS, stop offering services for them. If you don't like your job then go work somewhere else. I would also reevaluate how to interact with your customers. Talking under your breath is awkward, I understand warnings for liability are necessary but the attitude and mumbled complaining is completely unprofessional. you made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and almost guilty for choosing to ship with them via your store. moving forward, I will drive out of my way to go directly to the post office or ups. Then you won't have to be troubled by dealing with usps on my behalf.

I try to support local small businesses. I have sent several people to this business with my recommendations. Have you ever had a day when you need to reevaluate your life? We'll today the owner of Eli Shipping had one of those days. I recommended Eli shipping to a customer. The customer called Eli Shipping from Arkansas to see if they would package and ship an item to Arkansas, payment would be made via credit card. Eli said yes and told them to have the item brought to their store and they would take care of the rest. So I delivered the item to Eli Shipping (from here on I will refer to Chris, the owner, rather than Eli Shipping). There was a long wall bracket that Chris measured and said it would cost over $500 to ship and he was sure that the customer would not pay that. I said ok I'll take it home and disassemble the bracket. Chris then offered his tools and provided a table. I took the unit apart and gave it to Chris to recalculate the cost. It dropped down to $50. Chris asked who was supposed to call the customer I said he was but I had the customer phone number readily available so I said I would call. I called and told the customer that it was going to be $50 and customer approved. I hung up. Then Chris started going on about payment he wanted me to pay the shipping and get payment from the customer. I told him I had no way of doing that. Then he ranted on about how it was unfair that he takes the responsibility for collecting the money. He wanted me to pay. Again I told him I had no way of accepting payment. Then I called the customer and Chris reneged and accepted the credit card payment over the phone. Then he started on about how he just lost $3000 on a shipment and he still had to pay rent. Then he reiterated how it wasn't fair that he bears the responsibility for payment. He went on about me coming in early and he had so much to do to get ready for the day. Then he ranted on and on, I walked out the door and he was still ranting. Anyway I was not happy with the way he treated me. I sent him an email through the company website and basically retold what had happened and that I was not happy. As a result I would be looking for another business to help me in the future. Within a half hour I received 3 phone calls from Chris which I ignored. I thought he was calling to apologize for the way he acted. Boy was I wrong....He was calling because he was upset about my email. He basically canceled his customers order with UPS and refunded his customers credit card for the shipping charges. He wanted me to go pick up the merchandise and ship it elsewhere. So I went to pick up the merchandise and Chris was still ranting about the same stuff. I said it was his customer not mine and that his store told the customer to have me drop off the merchandise and they would take care of the rest. He said he instructed his staff not to take orders like this in the future. Rant, rant, scream, rant, rant, scream. I took the merchandise packaged it and shipped it for $36.00. So Chris lost a minimum of $14 because he had issues that he took to his place of business. The way he reacted is a great indicator of his poor attitude and poor customer service. He told me never to come back. Guess what I won't and I hope I steer more people away. Perhaps the owner needs to reevaluate whether he has the proper disposition to deal with the public. Maybe a job feeding seals? Oh and in case you didn't read earlier I WILL NEVER return or recommend this business in the future.

Bummer wasting time coming to this location twice without being able to complete any shipping. My first attempt to ship here was unsuccessful because they are unable to ship via a FedEx account. My second visit here was unsuccessful because they are unable to print a label via QR code. Walgreens FedEx office was able to complete both transactions for me.

I stopped going to the P.O.!! LOVE shipping by Eli!! Awesome, friendly, helpful owner & staff!!! And can't beat the prices!!!
