Went in during the Labor Day sale to try out the beds and was helped by Mountain, the Manager. Our main concern was motion transfer, and not wanting to feel like we were on an air mattress. We tried out all of the beds, and decided we liked the i8 the best. We didn't want to have to deal with the partial split and the custom sheets, so we opted for the standard king with adjustable base. When it arrived a few days later and was set up, I immediately noticed that it didn't feel anything like the bed in the store. It felt like an expensive air mattress! If my husband moves, I bounce around! And the edges are so soft that if you try to sit on the edge you slide off! For $6500 on sale! Worst of all, when we went back into the store to discuss how different it felt, Mountain couldn't help us at all, other than to keep telling us to call Customer Service and they'd handle it. Get home and call CS and they say they have to send a tech out. Tech comes out and has to call CS and puts in an exchange request for the partial split and says we'll get a call. They call to arrange the exchange and tell us it's going to be an extra $1100! If this is how they handle a new customer in the first week, I'm not sure I want to be tied to them for a 15 year warranty! Now they say we have to wait 30 days to return it so we can "adjust" to our new overpriced air mattress. Don't waste your time! Or money! My average sleep score for the past week is 47 out of 100! I would've rated 0 stars if given the option.

My parents purchased a full split king mattress with the flex fit 3 frame late last year. After 90 days of trial, they decided they didn't like the full split and wanted a queen size regular mattress without all of the adjustments. Sleep number was willing to work a deal on getting them onto a queen mattress, but this is when "Buyer Beware" entered the deal.Sleep Number will not take back or exchange the flex fit 3 frame. They will not take back any frames according to the store sales staff.They said, "you won't have any problems selling the frame on the internet. We have people in here looking for frames all the time." This statement proved to be false. It took over 4 months to sell the frame and we had to sell it for pennies on the dollar.I'll admit that I didn't read the fine print in enough detail and I obviously didn't ask the right questions to thoroughly protect my parents from the extra expense.I'm very disappointed with Sleep Number and this store's customer service. I believe Sleep Number could develop a more satisfied customer base if they provided a service to take the returned mattress frames, have them reconditioned, and then resell them at discounts to customers that are willing to purchase a reconditioned frame.

This was our first experience at a Sleep Number store. Mary and Cheryl could not possibly have better customer service. They were both friendly and informative. They were very patient with my endless questions and helped me find the perfect bed for my wife and me. The place is spotless inside. As others have mentioned in their reviews, you’re not coming here to find a bargain bed. This is a Lamborghini, so come with that in mind.

The bed is fantastic! Everything else about the company, subpar. Customer service is rough. Make sure you read all of the fine print before you sign anything. I assumed, my bad, that dumping that much money on a bed would come with customer service to match, I was wrong. The bed was in our house less than a month, my side lost air. Initial troubleshooting, air pump is bad. The technician that comes out to replace the pump doesn't even take the bad pump when they leave, it's up to us to UPS it back. I was hoping this was the last bed we would buy, I'm not holding my breath.

If you shop here, it's not because you're looking for a bargain. You appreciate the finer things and you're cool with luxury prices. Sleep Number even offers financing if you need the help, but they have baseline models to fit every budget. Mary was pleasant and knowledgeable. There wasn't any sales pressure or rushing. We felt cared for, and the whole process was engaging. The color selections are tragic, but pick up the custom linens if you get an adjustable base mattress! They also have the best pillow selection I've seen in a while.

I was surprised to see the poor reviews for Sleep Number stores around the valley, so I added our local store to review. We've had the pleasure of dealing with Cheryl since Day One, and she couldn't be more incredible. Cheryl is so helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy in any way. She's just the nicest person. She recently went above and beyond with a customer service request I had, which I was grateful for. Something to know about me is I have a problem spending money. I have it in my head that if something is a little more expensive, it must mean you're getting ripped off and you're a fool. It was a big leap to buy a Sleep Number bed, and I had tons of buyer's remorse. But- Cheryl made the purchase part easy. The delivery went smoothly. My husband and I both love our extremely comfortable bed, and notice how terribly we sleep away from it now! It's awesome to be able to adjust the firmness/softness. We love messing with our sleep numbers, and getting the report each day on the various aspects of the quality of our sleep. It's fun and informative. Last of all, Cheryl suggested joining the Insider's Innercircle Rewards club. (I inwardly groaned, because I hate joining these things and getting even more emails!) Let me tell you, DO THIS! I am constantly getting all kinds of free money in my account, lots of BOGOS, and really good discounts. I recently tried their pillows, which I thought were really overpriced. However, it was so cheap after all my freebies/discounts- and they are hands down the best pillows we've ever had. There are just a few things that matter in life: family/friends, your health, great food and getting a good night's sleep. Investing in a quality bed is worth it.

Went to look at a new bed at a new Sleep Number store (Baseline/Val Vista). The sleep number bed we were serious about purchasing was on sale. But after our visit we will not look at a sleep number bed or shop at any of their stores.Only one person working and she was not a very friendly sales person. After listening to her discuss a sale with one person we weren't impressed with her salesmanship.There was a lady that appeared to purchasing a bed. The sale appeared to be cut short because there were two more customers in the store and she was told to come back this evening to finish.The couple that was waiting for her to finish appeared ready to purchase a bed so she told us to come back as it would take her about an hour to finish. She asked us a couple of quick questions inquiring of what bed we were looking for and before we replied she mumbled something else and told the other couple the she had offered us something but we shown no interest. So we left and won't return.We knew which bed we wanted to purchase and would have bought after getting some details on their beds but we felt like we were not important enough or maybe dressed well enough as we were stopping by in the middle of our daily walk. If she would have given us some materials to look at we would have waited talk to us for a couple of minutes before setting aside an hour for the other customers. Hopefully she got her sale as she just lost ours.Update. After returning home we drove to a competedtor and bought a bed. They had friendly staff a a large selection of beds.

I'm so incredibly disappointed! My first sleep number bed was purchased in 1998. I was looking forward to getting the amazing comfort of a Sleep Number. NOT! The whole design is awful, it's like trying to sleep on and air mattress camping. They then sent me a "memory foam" topper, it is tufted, now I'm trying to sleep on rocks on top of an air mattress. For me the whole experience was not what I expected! I returned the entire system! Never would recommend Sleep Number again, the design is flawed and completely useless for comfortable sleep! DISAPPOINTED!!! MJ

We went in to try out the new beds. We needed a queen size as we downsized and couldn't use our 17 year old Sleep Number king size. The new beds are awesome. Mary Spinos assisted us and was very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions. We really appreciated her help. Our bed arrives in a week and we can hardly wait. Will post again after we sleep on it for awhile. I am sure we will love it.

We knew what we wanted and expected to pay before even going there. Did our research ahead of time. Still had a good saleslady without the high pressure. These beds are not cheap, but I have some issues im anticipating being alleviated by getting a good sleep number adjustable bed.

Sleep Number have the worst business practices I’ve ever experienced! They were supposed to deliver the VERY expensive bed to us last week, but at the last minute we were informed that they no longer remove old beds. So we had to re-schedule the delivery & make arrangements elsewhere to remove our old bed.
