There is a large and diverse selection of plants here. Also allot of tools that can be hard to find, like bonsai wire.

Summer can be a bummer if you're a plant trying to survive the Arizona heat. Summer '23 was rough. We broke a lot of heat-related records. We even had nearly one full month of above 110°F weather. Our blood orange tree in the backyard sadly couldn't handle the heat, and so we waited until prime time to pick up a new tree. J-Wow was hoping to find a kumquat tree, and we found it here at SummerWinds and she was pleased at having been able to grab the last one. We even picked up a dwarf thornless Mexican lime tree to plant in the front yard. Was it a rough day of gardening? You know it. I am hopeful that these trees could survive the heat though. Fingers crossed.

2 stars is solely based on price and selection of indoor plants, not the people or customer service. If you're looking for better priced plants and better selection, I recommend The Plant Stand or Whitfill Nursery.

Wonderful place to visit. Bought a moringa sapling, this is what happens when you listen to watering advice…sapling to over 7 feet tall in 3 months!

This is my favorite nursery in the East Valley. They carry the best selection of edible plants and flowers. The staff is always helpful and eager to offer any advice you may need. The prices are reasonable. Unlike the box stores, they sell plants that are appropriate to plant in this season. They're not trying to just get rid of inventory and sell you something that won't grow in the next few months. I enjoy every visit I make to this store!

I received poor customer service yesterday. When I bought my plants Cherie told me to hold on to my receipts because the plants are guaranteed for a year. Yesterday I went to the nursery with my receipts and she said I need to bring the dead plants in or have a photo on my phone of the dead plant. I had neither because she never said bring in the dead plant or provide a photo. Therefore, I did not get a refund. I do not appreciate the poor service going along with what she said. I then called the nursery to complain and Patti said the return policy is mentioned at the bottom of their receipts. However, Cherie did not tell me that either. I'm not happy with this nursery!

One of the bests nurseries in East Valley, all the workers are very helpful, and there are many plants to choose from. They also have a good selection of house plants from common to rare, and they are reasonably priced. Not to mention, they have the cutest cat helpers, Bob was nice enough to give me a tour for some head scratches❤10/10 experience.

Katie went over and beyond in helping me with houseplant soils, amendments and houseplants. and Growing in Arizona vs in Oregon where I moved from. She's very knowledgeable, patient and I'll be returning again and again. I stayed over an hour and am very impressed with healthy indoor and outdoor plants and trees, pots and everything you need to grow healthy plants. Thank you Katie!

We bought this hose (left) 1 month ago, and it's already rusting out. Their plants are fine, but don't bother with their garden equipment, they don't carry good quality items. For reference, I bought the hose on the right nearly 5 years ago.
