This has to be the dirtiest grungiest nastiest roach motel in all of Mesa. The first night there the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned since the Clinton administration! The Bathtub had dirty footprints. The inside of the fridge had crap spilled all over, the comforter on the bed had visible stains all over it. I was horrified to think what I would see if I brought a black light, something something Jackson Pollock painting. When I asked about changing rooms I was told there are not any other rooms nor any spare sheets or blankets we could use. We ended up using the towels provided along with some cleaning products I ran out and got to clean the entire floor and everything else that was dirty as hell. By the time we left a few days later the room was cleaner than it has ever been. Besides the dirty ass room there were vagrants hanging out in the parking lot selling Fentanyl and Meth. By day 3 there were a shitload of Undercover cops in riot gear that says street crime unit on the back hauling out a bunch of people. Housekeeping is only there in the mornings so if you need towels at night you're shit out of luck cause the night clerk will say they don't have access to anything. Watching Housekeeping spend a whole 3 minutes cleaning a room showed me why the rooms are nasty. The parking lot was littered with trash, piles of burning charcoal from random people cooking on grills and Fentanyl pills scattered all over the sidewalk and pool area where kids play. The day we left the Manager was telling anybody staying long term that if you're selling drugs to checkout now cause the police will be doing random sweeps through the whole place from now on. Just stay far away from this place. Sleeping in your car is probably a lot cleaner and safer than this dilapidated shithole

Spare yourself. We came and left right away. I don’t know how there’s 3 stars on here, it should be 1; there’s prob fake reviewers on here to keep the place open. The pictures are not the same exact place. Rough neighborhood apparently. Anyway, I’ll tell you our *brief* experience. We walk in to screeching automatic doors, then some hoodlums walking in. No probs. Then they thought we wanted a smokers room. My poor grandmother. The only reason we’re here is bc an early morning flight in Mesa. They put us in a non- smokers room that smelled so badly of smoke ? We went downstairs and asked for another room; the next one still had a faint smell but not as bad (I think by that point it was evident we weren’t going to stay here). Then the cigarette burns into the blankets ? the bathroom sink was grimy, like a wipe down gone wrong. Seems the cleaning people just do their thing for formalities’ sake. Some other review mentioned bed bugs- omg, thankfully we didn’t get that far! We peeled out (with all due respect), and went nearby to Courtyard by Marriott Mesa at Wrigleyville West: heaven on earth in comparison. Seriously, save yourself the time and trouble! We got a good laugh though.

This place needs knocked down & rebuilt. Front desk clerk stunk like weed, so high she couldn’t function. She charged my credit card 3 times. Room was absolutely disgusting. Pictures must be very old. I opened the door to the room the smell of mold and the rooms uncleanliness made me walk away & cancel immediately. Wish I had photos but I was so disgusted I needed to get out of there.

Well, this was the worst experience me and my son had pretty much ever gone through. Walked into the room it smelled like a mix of stale cigarette smoke and cat pee. I used an entire bottle of Febreze. Then, literally 15 min after checking in, went to the car to grab a couple things and was offered heroin. I wish I were exaggerating. We both didn't sleep at all with the constant and very loud banging. And everytime O went to take our chihuahua out to pee, was harassed for money or cigarettes. There hasn't been a quiet moment the entire night or moment. The only good thing here was the elderly cleaning lady who made sure our floors were dry before we got in and apologized if it wasn't the best because apparently a family with 4 dogs and children had just moved out that morning. I wish I read the reviews instead of booking this quickly. I never want to see my son this depressed again. I'm heartbroken for that.

This facility was awful. As far as the property, and it smells like marijuana in the hallways and elevators. The dead bolts on all the doors we saw were broken, there were cigarette burn holes in our bedding, they were bottle caps, etc. under the bed, there was human fecal matter in the elevator. There was several people hanging around in the hallways, and in the front who looked more like street gangs, than guests. It was obvious they were long-term residents and not traveling guests. Situation seemed very unsafe. I would not even walk to my car in the parking lot without my husband. We did not even want to leave our luggage in the room unattended. We ended up, leaving without staying, but did not get refunded even though we reported the conditions.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. In every way possible. The room was FILTHY. Spit on the mirrors. Prints, smudges and stains on the shower curtain. Hair everywhere. And our non smoking room smelled like someone had smoked in it for 20 years. My view was a tree with dirty socks and underwear hanging from it. There were several transactions going on outside, whether drug deals or prostitution I have no idea. Doesn't matter. It was just disgusting in every way. I'd give it zero stars if I was allowed.

It's not top rate by any means. You definitely get what you pay for. The location is convenient, located near the freeway and you have both shopping and food choices close enough to walk to. The downside is that it seems to be a favorite spot for illegal and illicit activities. With that in mind I must admit that overall you still feel safe and can get a good nights sleep.

Absolutely the most disgusting place I have ever been. Immediately when you pull in there are homeless and addicts doing drugs in the parking lot and common areas. Not just one or two but like 5-10… the room we had had cigarette burns all over the bedding, the shower was covered in black mold. The ENTIRE PROPERTY inside and out smells like cigarettes and weed.I checked in and checked right back out. Immediately felt unsafe, unsanitary and honestly probably a health concern given the condition.DO NOT stay here!!!!

As a truck driver I’ve stayed at a lot of pretty bad hotels throughout the entire United States but, this one is definitely the absolute worst. I stayed there for 3 nights and have bed bug bites all over me. There was crackheads and tweekers everywhere, and I do mean EVERYWHERE. In the lobby, parking lot, and hanging out in the hallways. It was impossible to sleep with random people constantly trying to open my door and the neighbors fighting and screaming at each other all day and night. They didn’t even put anything out for breakfast, no granola bars and not even coffee. The towels smell like piss and the shower looked like someone died in it. The ENTIRE building smells like smoke, the hallways and my room included. Don’t stay here if you don’t have to, I can’t even believe it’s allowed to be open the way it is. The bed bugs are what is really making me so unhappy and hopefully they will do something about it. ???

The bed was comfortable. There were people soliciting money out front by the entrance. The front desk girl was super busy and barely able to check us in. It does smell bad everywhere. Our room was dirty, but the sheets and towels were clean. The AC unit had a hole you had to stick your finger in to turn it on, the button was gone. There was no breakfast and the in room coffee maker was broken.

This hotel is rundown - needs renovation and cleaning. My room was unappealing from the furnishings to bedding to the sticky floor. The online profile definitely flatters the hotel. There were seedy looking men hanging out front. On the morning I checked out there was a police officer patrolling the corridors on the first floor and and a police SUV cruising the parking lot. Makes one wonder if there are drug deals taking place. I will not be returning.

We arrived at 1am to check in. lady was very nice. Then went to our room no problem . Slept well.. l got up 2 hours before my family to get coffee. The elevator stunk like marijuana as I drink my coffee. It looked like a hotel or nothing but drug addicts. Loaded up the car and my family and got the heck out of

I stayed there for 3 days (weekend)...It's an older hotel, but it was inexpensive, clean & everything worked just fine. Didn't see a single bug!I stayed on the 3rd floor, "A SMOKING Room", believe it or not.I truly thought that they were a thing of the past, but I had a great time just watching TV, catching up on my correspondences, smoking, taking it easy and staying out of that brutal AZ sun!It was a bit noisy up on the 3rd floor, but part of that was it being the weekend, and some hotel guest had a couple of yapping little dogs but they quieted down before too late in the evening. All in all, it was a blast!! I only wish that I had brought my swim trunks, as the pool looked Very inviting!!!! ? ?Still smiling thinking about my time spent there chain smoking and loving it!! LOL, but true.?p.s. ~ They have excellent Wi-Fi for the entire hotel. Always on and great signal (just ask the day clerk for the password)?Rooms: My room was neatly maintained, everything was clean, NO Bugs & all was acceptable ?Walkability: My bike was still at my sister's house, so I was walking only....The hotel is literally just right off of the I-60 interstate on/off ramp, so if walking, it's exactly 1/2 mile to a Fry's grocery store heading south. Only made the trip once to stock up provisions, etc.The Valley Metro city bus runs right by the hotel, but I was saving my bus pass for later. It would've been nice to have my bike ?, of course, but I really only went outside just the once, so no loss there. LOL

I'm honestly in utter shock, the stay was absolutely terrible. I was planning to stay three nights but left after a few hours. I just read someone else's comment about the AC being gross and when I first checked in and tried to nap in the room I had the WORST breathing issues. I have a small cough already but it literally amplified being in the room and when I went outside to walk around and breath fresh air my coughing/breathing issues went away. I went back in the room and they were HORRIBLE. I decided to take off the AC unit cover to see underneath after reading that other review and it was absolutely disgusting. That is a literally health violation/hazard especially for more vulberable individuals and the hotel can potentially be sued.
