It has seats that are not plus size friendly when it comes to the recliner. The button to recline is on the side, not the top, and can be hit by hips, causing seats to move again. This is annoying for those who are handicap and cannot adjust. The theater is clean and chairs are comfy. A movie at 8pm was followed by a concession visit around 9, but the concessions were closed, which was odd. AMC is preferred, but broken chairs have been seen twice here, whereas the Stapley location is better. The Gateway East also hosts Native Grill and Wings, which offers jalapeno wings and has a 5*. The area is a cool shopping area between Mesa and Apache, with AMC, In N Out, Crumbl, Cold Stone for a time with family without traveling far.

Movies are always great, the place is always comfy, cozy, it can be a little expensive but still worth it when we go.

My only complaint is the seats are not plus size friendly when it comes to the recliner. The button to recline should be on top not on the side where you can hit it. There is a button to make it not move but if you hit it due to your hips the seats move again. Just annoying when ur handicap and can't really adjust.
