My husband and I visited Talbots at Dana Park on Val Vista on 5/4/25 around 4:00 p.m. We walked in and the employees were having a lively conversation at the register. I was in the store for over 20 minutes. At no time was I welcomed in, asked if I needed help, etc. I walked by the employees several times and I was virtually invisible to them. Last year when I visited this store, I was greeted right away and asked if I was shopping for anything in particular. I was helped by several employees and ended up spending almost $400.00. Today I was prepared to spend even more. After I tried on the clothing, I walked out of the dressing room and decided to put all the clothing back. I walked out of the store still being invisible. Time to put these ladies on commission. Talbots, your employees are doing you no favors or looking out for the company's best interest. Can you really afford to keep loosing sales like this?? Luckily, Chico's was willing to help.

There were three snobby acting sales associates present & casually visiting with one another when my daughter and I entered the store. There were no other customers in the store, and we were not even greeted or offered any assistance. I was looking to purchase numerous items for an upcoming trip, but decided to go elsewhere for my needs. I will not be returning to this store. The sales associates were so friendly and professional at LOFT a few doors down & I was able to find a new wardrobe for my trip!

Customer service was horrible, I wasn't acknowledged, even though I was the only customer in the shop. When I finally went up to the counter to ask if they carried blazers and work attire, one of the two clerks, who had been in intense conversation the entire time, said - not anymore and then went right back to talking with her coworker. I had a similar experience in a nearby store and I'm almost positive it was socioeconomic profiling - I won't be back to this store or any store in this shopping center. Very superficial and rude.

I have been in this Talbots twice and both times the sales people on the floor were to busy to give me the time of day..no problem CHICOS and J JILL were both very helpful. Plus the clothes were more stylish.

Store of course is great. I know it was the end of Labor Day, but although the gal that waited on me was "polite" she wasn't very helpful or gracious. Sorry, I am spoiled on the gracious customer service on the phone at Talbots. She just tossed my returns out of the bag and didn't even put them back in. A bit flippant.

The sales associates were not nice. I came into the Dana Park location with the mask on but not covering my nose because I have asthma and the manager there told me to pull my mask up above my nose when I explained to her that I have a medical condition and I keep it over my mouth but not my nose because I have asthma and have problems breathing . she said that I needed to pull it up that other customers don't like it and I need to wear the mask fully covering my face. She was not nice and according to the mandate she was not correct I do not have to wear a mask if I have a medical condition. regardless I will not be coming back and I will not be shopping at talbots. It is interesting though to see that other reviews have said that these sales associates are not friendly I agree.
