“We had to move my son out of his apartment and had a good amount of lightly used household items. Deseret was so helpful in helping us unload our truck. Highly recommend the helpful and friendly folks here.”

“It's a cute hole-in-the-wall thrift clothing shop, mostly women's clothing, but it appeared there was men's clothing as well to some degree. Lot of original artwork, kind of expensive, they had women's purses and some fabrics as well.

Just stopped in, did a loop, hopped out.
Neat if you're into unique thrift clothing.”

“Short story:

I was on marketplace last night looking for an affordable bicycle to get me around town, possibly go back to work on.

After many, MANY postings, I found exactly what I was hoping to find; and it's a bike I'd owned before, but marked down to a price I can actually afford. Messaged the guy Codi, he was very responsive, very positive experience.

Went in this morning, got there before they opened. Codi was professional and very friendly, and once I'd purchased the bike, he even loaned me the tools I needed to get the bike up and running to my specs.

EXTREMELY happy with both my purchase, and the experience I had with him. The store was a lot smaller than I expected, but very well organized and very clean. Would go back again, they have everything you could possibly need or want.

Codi, thank you again for your help, the bike is awesome!”

“I love going to Stardust because I can always find everything I need for my houses at very reasonable prices. Phil was very helpful while I was looking for a refrigerator today. Also, after I bought it he called to let me know that I left my credit card at the store. I appreciated the call and want to commend him for taking care of the customers.”

“I give these guys all my clothes and shoes. They're the best and mostly because it's a cause I care about. I also hope to be making a will soon because I don't have children and I want to leave all my money to animal welfare. Come check this wonderful store out and don't forget to leave them a cash donation as well!”

“Very clean inside, the staff is very friendly as well. All items are priced great except the clothes. Clothing was priced too high for a thrift shop. Aside from that I highly recommend stopping by.”

“It is doing a great service for this local community and it will receive all my future donations to the thrift store there. It funds the food bank there that provides a huge service directly to the local community.”

“Very friendly staff. Same discount program as Value Village which is nice. Place was clean and pretty well organized. Pricing idmf clothes was rather high, esp for how worn many were. Otherwise a great location and I will be back”

“Very helpful to the community at large. With rising costs in everything, it gives those with food insecurity a place to receive quality food. Also allows who could not otherwise afford furniture and small appliances a place to go to get quality items for their home.”

“I love this Store. As an Employee that works there and as a customer who shops there when allowed. This is the first job I've have in a while where the management treats you like a HUMAN and not a machine. They actually care if your not feeling well or get hurt on the job or if you have a child to tend to. I've had all three . It's nice to see them not judge a person based off how they dress or tattoos like my old job did. Thank you for taking the time to review my notes. Have a happy new year.”

“This is a very nice Goodwill. Smelled better than most and the clothes I saw were all very clean. The items I saw were very well priced. Sometimes Goodwills are messy and overpriced. I’ve seen many dirty items for sale. But I was impressed with this location and I will be back.”

“The few times I’ve been down and out in my life I’ve seen some really unsafe, questionable, unclean institutions and establishments, and that’s more often the case than not (think places like CASS!).A New Leaf, however, was a much different experience for me. They gave me safe housing for over 3 months when I was fleeing a physically violent relationship, they provided me plenty of food, bus & light rail passes, and even threw some gifts to the residents living there when a couple holidays came around, which was above expectation.I would definitely stress to everyone that if you are in one of their shelters, you absolutely must be there to check in for the night by midnight, and stay there until 5 am. No exceptions. If you miss a night you might be alright, but after a couple missed nights they will remove you from your spot because they are required to in order to justify your being there and to keep receiving their funding. That’s pretty much why I ended up having to leave. Because I started wanting to spend a night here or there offsite, and if you do that enough, they will figure you have another option for housing. I also felt they could’ve done a better job screening incoming men to the facility to ensure they a) weren’t just claiming to be victims when they were the actual abusers, and b) using drugs and/or alcohol on the premises and spinning out of control. On two occasions while I was staying there, men had to be kicked out for making death threats and being crazy destructive and breaking things in blind rage, and I thought how ironic. Here they are claiming to be fleeing abuse, all the while exhibiting textbook domestic violence offender behavior.Only because of this ongoing issue not feeling safe, I give A New Leaf 4 stars. They get almost all of it right, and maybe since 2019, they’ve fixed some of the issues I had when I was there. I will say I am very grateful for their services and I’ve recommended them to other people in abusive relationships who need a fresh start and a safe place to live until they can figure out the next move. Thank you, New Leaf!”

“I furnished my entire apartment from Goodwill, for a total of $500. I get all my work clothes from Goodwill. I always try to find things at Goodwill before I go somewhere else that sells them new just to save a couple bucks. Most of the things are in good shape, or you can test him.”

“This is the store that receives all my donations. Friendly efficient staffing and they are always ready when I pull up to unload. The store has a well maintained vibe and pricing is reasonable on most items. Return policy is such that I can exchange or return if it doesn't seem right once I get the item home. Wide selection of cookware and utensils. Large supply of plastic covered mattresses. Kids toys on top of kids clothing sections. Wide reading selections. Fun store to just look to see if some treasures can be found.”

“I love your General Order and Cleanliness. The employees are very attentive and unconditional support is very attentive. VERY GOOD PRICES IN GENERAL AND THEIR DISCOUNTS WITH 20% EVERY MONTH???????”

“I shopped them when my kids were
Little but we lived far east valley so I did not shop as often. My daughter is an adult now and we make a trip to thrift there rather and the many goodwills,we pass along the way. This place is cheaper, the employees are nicer and it just fun. There is a long time employee at the boutique area who is beyond sweet. We don’t know her name we just know she is nice. It’s not a super neat and organized however the magnitude of the volume of product makes it fun to find that hidden gem. It’s nice to go to this store. Fun place!”
