To Jessica, the employee, mgr at TJ Max at Superstition Mall. My son and I were in there for a few things. My son is 12 years old and has AUTISM. He collects name tags and shirts from local businesses. He has been doing so since he was 5 years old. He just acquired his TJMax Name tag from another location last night. He likes to wear his name tags while he is in the stores. You asked him if he was working, and he said NO.
You told him he is not allowed to wear it in here, and they will not pay you. Did I mention he is only 12? When I explained why he was wearing it and that he had AUTISM and that he is only 12, you said people might get confused?!
I said confused about what he's a 12-year-old boy and you said again he's not allowed to wear it. Not only did you trigger him into having a stress episode, you crushed him in a way you'll never know. He was not bothering anyone he was not trying to sell anything to anybody he was not talking to customers he was minding his own business like he always does in every store that we frequent. Because you triggered him he proceeded to get upset and yell profanities which I absolutely don't condone! When that happens there's nothing that I can do because it will make it worse so not only did your remark cut our night short it put him in a stressful situation and me and maybe you should go get some training because a 12-year-old knows he doesn't work there nor did he think he was getting a paycheck that's probably the most ignorant thing you said along with people might get confused. There are so many other Solutions such as maybe we could put intern or trainee or anything on there to make you feel better Jessica so that people wouldn't think he was going to work there or get paid. I can't bring him in that store again because he will never forget what you said to him and how that made him feel. The other stores are amazing they all love him. They think he's the best thing ever, and they're kind and their understanding where you're lacking.
Your lack of knowledge and empathy is unfortunate.

I think this is only the second time that I have ever been to a TJ Maxx and it was my first time going to the Mesa TJ Maxx. I wish that I had more time to look at the entire store but when you’re shopping with a man who apparently does not like shopping, it was a bit rushed. If I was on my own, I would’ve come out with a cart full of items because I sure saw a lot of things in the one section that I was able to look into. On the most part, the prices were good and some were more than good. if you feel like a deal and a great selection and you don’t have a man in tow, I would really suggest visiting TJ Maxx and maxing out your husband’s credit card.

THE best TJMAXX. Great check out people, actually wrapped glass items without having to ask them. Store was clean as are their bathrooms.

Customer service really needs work at this location. The staff walk past you and do not speak. At check out, I said to the cashier "hi how are you today?" and she said absolutely nothing. The line was long, so they called for cashiers, but this lady seemed upset to help. I highly suggest a team meeting and discuss providing exceptional service to customers.

I have come to hate this store. If you are white you have nothing coming. Asked dept to ring up 10 items doubles of 5 products and was told no. There were 3 people with no one at the counter, standing around chatting it up. They did however find it in their heart to ring a Latina’s women things. I had to wait in a line of at least 50. Tjmaxx is the new expensive Kmart quality store. Everything is very overpriced. Amazon is the way to go these days. Great quality and excellent pricing.
