A good price on a truck that they never provide to you is not a good anything. If you're doing a long haul, pay a little more and go with Penske. They'll actually provide what you book.\\nWe spent days recieving messages that they don't have a truck, then they did, then would we haul a trailer for them to places we aren't even going? No? Well, suddenly we don't have a truck anymore.\\nThese are some of the worst humans we have.

Was told on Wednesday to come in at 8:00 am this morning to have my vehicle looked at, as I need to pass emissions. Apparently a tech no call no showed and rather than empathize with me as a customer and try to make it work, I was turned away. I explained again I needed it done today as they previously installed the part. Was told by the guy at the desk who sits next to Adam, they need to do a diagnostic test to ensure it is the same issue. I was under the impression from my initial visit that there already was a diagnostic ran as I used a coupon that included a multi inspection, oil change and other services. He looked me up and said no it was not done. He asked me to come in during the week but I work Monday through Friday, and after I said that he didn't even offer for a next week Saturday. Unbelievable. I get that's it's Saturday and you don't want to be there, but don't go to work if that's the case. I felt as I walked in I was already judged by my age and the way the guy turned me away he might as well said "get out of here kid." Aren't you supposed to be "Friendly" Auto? There wasn't anything friendly about this visit. I have 3 vehicles and I will not be bringing back any one of them. I see there are great reviews on here so this must be during the week. Cause they clearly don't want to be there on Saturday's. And apparently I wasn't old enough to get the respect and service I deserved as a paying customer returning to have my vehicle looked at (that Friendly Auto previously worked on.) Now I'm going to buy a temporary tag and look for another mechanic in the valley who actually cares about their customers 24/7 and not at their convenience. 1 star for the review, though if it were up to me I'd rather give no stars. The guy didn't give me his name, but I sure hope he wasn't the supervisor.

I have an unusual truck; kind of a Mad-Max rat-rod '79 Chevy 4x4. It needed a lot of work, there were many issues with it. I noticed Friendly's strong Facebook marketing and did research and they looked good, decided to give em a try. Contacted owner Steve, expressed my concerns, and he says "I know every inch of that truck". I like the confidence. Truck gets to the shop, the crew were professional and confident as well. Later I get this link texted to me which is this cool breakdown of what's good, what is so-so, and what is bad and needs repair asap. Steve gives me a quote, stung a little, but quality is something that costs money. You get what you pay for. (It's not the 90s, labor isn't $60 an hour anymore lol) I get the truck back and all these mechanical problems with the truck are gone. No more oil, tranny fluid, & gas leak. The new brakes; no more squeaking. Janky front end issues resolved. And the long-standing steering issues and finally completely fixed, etc etc. The best feeling is not stressing over it anymore. That is well worth the cost. Good job Steve & crew, you have a new loyal customer.

The service was outstanding and the owner, Steve personally called us to give us an update. We will definitely be back! Honest service and we're so glad we finally found a shop we can call home to our auto needs.

Very deceitful, my daughter had her car towed there because her car wasn't shifting, she was told to come in for a free diagnostic, they gave her a print out which I have of over $600 worth of work and new parts in order to fix the problem, she told them she couldn't afford that and they refused to give her back her keys. My husband had to call and complain, while he was on the phone with the owner, the owner threw the keys at my daughters boyfriend's face. She had to call another tow truck, the guy from the tow company asked if he could look at her shifter and there was a small piece disconnected, he connected it and said that's all that needed to be done and didn't charge her anything. Her car hasn't had any problems since. The owner did call my husband back and apologize for treating my daughter and her boyfriend so poorly, we decided not to make any complaints at that time because we all have bad days, but that is still no excuse for assaulting someone by throwing keys at their face and being completely deceitful in what was wrong with her car. It's places like this that give honest people bad reps. Thanks to the tow truck guy, her car was fixed for no charge and all it was was a little piece that was disconnected.

This was my first visit to Friendly Auto Center and I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness and knowledge. They were able to fit me in quickly which was a pleasant surprise. We will be taking all of our vehicles there! Thanks Steve and his team!

The staff and service at Friendly Auto Centers are fantastic! Not only did they do a fantastic job on our vehicle but when they were getting me quotes on what the repairs would be they were detailed on what needed to be done and why they felt it was needed and I never felt any pressure that I had to do something or it was going to be a big problem. On top of that, after I received the quote I got a phone call back from Manny 2 minutes letter and he apologized and told me he had not put in an extra part that was not part of the original quote and added it in and asked if this was still ok to proceed with the repair. So overall I had a great experience! The staff was honest, reliable, and my car is running fantastic! Not to mention that all of their parts have a lifetime warranty! I highly recommend Friendly Auto Centers and their experienced and ethical staff! Their is not a better shop in Maricopa County.

Customer service is good, vehicles are clean, and pickup process is quick. The truck came with a dolly and blankets, which was an unexpected surprise. Big downside is navigating the larger truck (26') in the parking lot. Tight spaces and narrow lanes makes exiting and returning the vehicle very challenging, even for an experienced driver. If uncomfortable, it may be worthwhile to request an employee move the truck to the exit for you.

This garage is less than friendly. They will do the work, but the repair costs are too high and employee attitudes are too low. Don't waste your money. Move onto a garage that stands up to its name.

Can't wait to pick up truck today. Friendly's has fixed every vehicle in our household. They're honest and affordable . We won't take our vehicles anywhere else.

I think we customers are always surprised at what car repairs cost. But nothing is free. I use Friendly Auto for all 4 of my vehicles. The work they do is always great. They show me things that need repaired or call me to discuss it. Their suggested repairs always fix the issue. One time a problem came up with my brake booster applying the brakes as I drive. This was after they fixed my brakes so I was suspicious. It turned out to be a freak issue with the booster failing in the opposite manner that they normally fail. I am a former mechanic, so I was totally aware of what they were telling me, and glad that they found the issue. Prices are always fair compared to what other shops charge. I do check them out against other shops by phone sometimes just to keep us all honest. I do recommend Friendly Auto. Steve is a conscientious business owner.
