I would say the customer service is horrible but that would imply they have any! Hands down the worst banking experience I have had. Not just a particular issue...several and reoccurring issues that seem to just keeping getting worse and worse.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I arrived a few seconds before 5 pm (I get that's when they close) but I tried to call the location and nobody answered. I was stuck in traffic and already switched my direct deposit over to the location, but my debit card had not arrived. When I got to the door, there was a guy closing it and locking it and when I said I needed cash, he said "sorry, we're already balanced for the day". Again, I arrived last minute, so I understand the part that was my fault, but had I arrived 1 minute earlier, they still would have been "balanced". In addition, I tried to go to this location on a Saturday (a "open" day for them) and they were closed. I call the member service number and they were unaware of the closure. I cannot explain how upset I am. I thought I was making a good move leaving Chase and if it wasn't for the $300 new account bonus, I'd close my account tomorrow. As it stands today, I am still considering it because of these terrible experiences. What's worse is I had a wonderful call the week prior with someone from their corporate office. The location, stay away and hopefully they'll fire the staff and hire new people. The lack of empathy and care from the staff at the Stapley and McKellips location is unbelievable.

They say come to a credit union because you can expect better service than what you might get at any other institution. I picked a credit union because it should be easier to deal with and access my money. As a member there should be a seamless way for me to authenticate myself not only in a daily basis but also in emergencies. This shows it's better to choose the technology over the brand because these banks aren't for everyone in the community.

I've had many pleasant experiences at this V.W. location (Stapley and McKellips). I even taught them a trick that I learned at the V.W. Crismon location and they were open to my suggestion and even called their help team right there on the spot to follow up on what I was sharing with them. The employees are ALWAYS friendly, helpful and greet you with a smile and exit you with a thank you - that is hard to find nowadays and for that I am extremely thankful !! There have been occasions where I have needed additional help that the V.W. 800 # was unable to provide and this location's management always steps up to rectify or follow up on what I need. Keep up the awesome work guys :)
