very efficient staff and Dr… as a new patient i appreciated being seen right away on arriving, and the staff having my insurance verified, and clear and concise estimates of my co pays..there is a huge selection of frames and services… very knowledgeable staff to help you decide what choices to make for lenses…i will definitely return next year for my exam !Sharon

I brought my kids in for their annual exams over the course of a few days. I had the pleasure of working with the GM Sue and the associate by the name of Lyrah. Both Lyrah and Sue were extremely personable, professional and down to earth. Unfortunately, my experience with Amber was the complete opposite. There was a misunderstanding between myself and Lyrah. Lyrah was accommodating due to the misunderstanding being on her part. Amber, not fully aware of the situation, chose to question and challenge Lyrah’s decision in front of me, In an attempt to have me pay funds for a treatment I did not approve. When I asked Amber why the attitude, her reply was, “It’s not my money. I don’t care.” Which was partly my point. It would have been more appropriate and professional for her to follow the directions given to her, considering she was not fully privy to what had transpired. I have since been back but try to avoid communication with her. Luckily the wonderful customer service from Sue, Lyrah and the additional staff superseded Amber’s poor attitude and unprofessional behavior.

I wanted to get my frames adjusted as they were a little tight on my temple. Come to find out that the frames were too small for my face. The general manager, Sue, was helpful to find me a pair of glasses that fit me better and helped me secure a new pair of sunglasses. Her staff also helped to check if there were frames in wider width so I could go home with the same pair. All-in-all, I found a great pair of glasses without having to pay extra for them and found a great, reasonably priced pair of sunglasses to go along with my prescription. I love Visionworks off of Signal Butte. They treat everyone like family. I will definitely be suggesting this location to more of my friends and family.

Very enjoyable experience at Visionworks Signal Butte Rd Mesa. All staff were very friendly and both professional and pleasant to deal with. Gave us the time we needed to complete our exams and make purchases for new pairs of glasses. Well versed on what my eye plan offered .

I will start off by saying that I take a little bit of blame in this situation. I went in July for an Exam and purchased 2 pairs of glasses. They called me to say they were ready, the sunglasses I got for distance vision are fine. The regular pair I got has the wrong script in it. A script they came up with! They sent my glasses back 2 times to have them adjust the progressive part of them. I've been so busy with work that I kept forgetting to call. I finally was able to call only to find out that I needed to pay full price for a new exam and repurchase new glasses. Apparently, there is a 100-day window, for corrections. Had I been told this information upfront I would have made it a point to call sooner. The fact that I have to pay for everything all over again and don't credit for the 2 times they sent them back to get fixed is very frustrating. I can tell you that I will not go back. I will deal with my eyes at the state they are in for now. Next year when our benefits renew I will try again somewhere else. Not very impressed with any of the time I spent in the store. The best part of this experience was the first lady who helped me. She was nice. Other than her I would have to give Vision Works 2 thumbs down. Sad yet true. Does anyone need glasses - I have a pair, I can't use ...

My appointment was at the time schedule the doctor really spent a lot of time explaining the Best glasses for me and they didn't try to oversell me on products that I did not want nor need. Overall a wonderful experience.

Today was my second time visiting this location. I had an eye exam and I also needed to pick up my daughter glasses as well. Today when I went in, the Dr was super rude and disrespectful when I didn't make a fast decision over contacts. When I shared a concern over new contacts and why I wanted more time to research the brand, she raised her voice and continued to repeat the same thing over abs over never addressing my concern. When it was time to check out she called the lady at the check out desk to the back to discuss something while another lady was waiting to finish checking in. I’m not sure if she was overwhelmed with her backed up schedule but if a person is voicing a concern you should not loudly respond with changes by the manufacturer. I voiced an concern and it went ignored—-by an “Doctor” and getting frustrated when people won’t make fast decision is not called for as well. Visit at your own risk.

My son had an eye exam and everything went all right, but when it was time to order his contacts the service was was so confusing and mistaken. I called my insurance to figure out what was going on and I found out that my insurance was billed for the contact fitting service but they also charged me. The claim was billed as out of network when they are in network, so I had to go in to the office to see if they can help to figure it out, and the lady upfront was rude and unprofessional , she could not handle the situation and passed on to another lady in there by telling her that I was not capable of understanding in front of me and other people there. Fortunately, I believe her name Lyrah, insurance coordinator, was professional and able to figure it out for me. I still paid more than I should have because the initial claim was not correct and there was nothing she could do for it. I will not be returning. I understand insurance claims are confusing, but if your job requires interacting with people you always have to be professional and patient.

My experience was amazing! I am never sure what looks good on me. Sue was amazing with explaining glasses size, what the options are , what would be the best for me, both for comfort and price.

My 13 year old son went here for his first eye exam and glasses yesterday. Carla and the eye Dr were excellent and making him feel comfortable and easing his nerves. Then Sue the manager helped him select glasses. She was also extremely patient and kind. I would recommend these folks for excellent service and care.

Front staff greeted me promptly. Front staff also made sure I had all my paperwork and asked if I had any questions before taking me back. Staff and doctor were very friendly doctor was kind a thorough and 10 out of 10 would recommend.
