Not a great experience. Pharmacy tech was very unkind and spoke with a lot of unwarranted attitude. She also asked for my insurance card and gave it back rolling her eyes saying that it wasn’t insurance. It is, I use it everywhere and called Kaiser afterwards to make sure. I ended up having to pay out of pocket because of her lack of patience. Maybe she was having a bad day but speaking to people with such impatience and disdain just isn’t okay. Very disappointing.

The store is immaculate and the shelves well stocked. The pharmacy manager is Tia and is very knowledgeable and helpful regarding medications and instructive guidance for them. Tia was able to advance a difficult prescription that required a certain manufacturer and expedited the delivery within days. Martha is the pharmacist who is always available for solid counsel, clear instructions and guidance, and very knowledgeable on medication management and medication reconciliation for sequelae and interactions. Brittany is the pharmacy assistant who is extraordinarily helpful and pleasant in ensuring seamless communications and helpful guidance in support of customer service. Tia and Brittany ensure complete confidence for the consumer in dispensing prescriptions, accurate transfer of prescriptions, and prescriber guidance for prescriptions and patient safety in regard to possible interactions. Maria and Rebecca are the pharmacy assistants who are very knowledgeable regarding medication status and refills, and are always at the ready to assist with a pleasant and kind attitude, reflective of her helpful assistance. I received a courtesy call today for last minute pickup and I was unable to get to the pharmacy, so Rebecca was able to ensure that I receive important medications on time and offered to mail them to me. The pharmacy team is one of the best and can be relied upon for outstanding customer service and assistance. The drive-thru is a convenient option to entering the store and I have always received prompt service.

Don't arrive 5 minutes before closing or Susan the warden will yell at you. If I didn't live nearby & hadn't woken up needing cough drops for my cold, I would've walked right out. I should also mention that this is my second nasty interaction with Susan, the last time she had the nerve to mutter "maybe you should've come earlier" under her breath right by me. I will definitely be calling the manager tomorrow to complain.

Waited almost an hour only to check with them again and find they'd messed up the order and attached it to someone else. TWO other customers had their orders delayed and messed up "because got busy with other customers and forgot" I heard her tell one of them as I was waiting for mine. Not a good pharmacy team, or perhaps just a bad day for them either way, won't be returning to this location!

The worst place to go. I have been going to this Walgreens (Sossamon and Broadway in Mesa,AZ.) for over 15 years. Not just getting prescriptions but purchasing anything and a lot. They got too expensive with meds, I switched pharmacy about 4 years ago. I started going there at least 1-2 days a week to get supplies for my home health care business. Not any more as of two weeks ago! Why? Because I was treated so badly by "Susan/Lead Team". I kept asking her questions and she got Agitated at me and said she is very busy and doesn't have time to help me and no else there can either. I would have come there in the morning when. More people are there to help. She used a rude tone and raised her voice almost yelling at me. After she turned away, I left my basket full of items and walked out. Almost traumatized. No one has ever talked to me like that. I will never go to another Walgreens again. I reported it to "Corporate" and never heard a word back. They just don't care.

I was in store (Sossaman and Broadway) the other day and saw that Danish Cookies were on sale BOGO free. I went in today and was happy to see the deal was still there signage and all. I proceeded to checkout with 10 Danish Cookie Tins, and was surprised to see my order was not ringing up BOGO Free, but the current sale of $2.99 a tin. I asked for a manager, and the cashier came back advising me that I could only have 4 at the BOGO Free as advertised on the sign. Note: The sign said nothing about a limit of 4. So I went and spoke to the Assistant Manager myself, and was advised that even though the signage didn't state any limit, he could retroactively place a limit on any product in their store at any time. I'm still looking for the sign that says that. I will be going back to speak with the Store Manager tomorrow, who in my opinion a phone call should have been generated to him today. Walgreens just lost a customer over $3.45...yeah I calculated the loss out of curiosity for THEIR MISTAKE. I think I will head over to conduct my business at their competitor, which is about 2000' from my home anyway. THANKS WALGREENS!

I'm new to buying prescription medication thru pharmacies as I'm a Vietnam veteran with agent orange in my system. My medication is supplied to me for no charge because of my 60% disability rating. I've had 6-way-heart bypass because of the agent orange and now I have a precancerous porcelain gall bladder that needs to come out ASAP also from agent orange. The VA system in Phoenix, AZ is too slow to care for me, so I've had to go to private doctors so therefore I have to purchase my prescriptions. The last thing I need, is to be taken advantage of by a Walgreens pharmaceutical store. I understand that they already have my money for the prescriptions that I bought but I asked them to not be a rip-off business and reimburse me the difference between what they charged me and my GoodRx card prices. I asked them to please reply soon, as I may have to spread the word as to the Walgreens Scam that's happening in the Walgreens stores. With all the social media outlets today, it won't take long to spread the word. I'm a 69 year old Vietnam veteran that's dying of agent orange and I just want what's fair. The Walgreens organization has not gotten back to me as of this time. Listed below are the charges from Walgreens and what other pharmacies are charging. 1). Walgreens at the corner of Broadway and Sossaman Rds charged me $195.87 for 90 pills of Finasteride/5mg on 3/27/2018 My Good RX card the price for the very same prescription was $4.00 at Walmart. 2). Same Walgreens as above; On 3/24/2018, I purchased 20mg, Qty 20 of Ondansetron. They charged me $105.41 and I could've gotten them at Frys pharmacy for $9.39. 3). Same Walgreens as above; I bought 10mg, qty 20 of Ketorolac and was chg'd $30.46 on 3/24/2018 and Costco's price on the GoodRx card was$14.72! 4). And again, same Walgreens as above; On 3/24/2018 I purchased Ciprofloxacin, qty 40 for $89.09 but Walmart has them for $4.00 on the GoodRx card!
