The service was good! The price for an oil change was half of what another place was trying to charge me but the downside is the question I had about my tire they couldn't even give me an answer for.

Tire center employee was completely rude. She was talking on her personal cell phone while 5 customers were waiting and the phone was ringing. A tire technician had to toss a rag at her to get her attention back to work. I tried to make an appointment for tomorrow after she found out what I needed. My car wasn't in the system so she said she couldn't make an appointment for me. She said that she needed the car's VIN number. When I showed her a photo of the VIN number, she said that she couldn't put it in the computer without "seeing the damage to my vehicle." There is no damage to my vehicle related to the tire. Then she told me that because I already have a wheel & tire that I need mounted and replaced, that it "wasn't worth their time for something like that."I'd give zero stars if I could.

Pros and cons to this review. For starters, Carl and Crystal, the two working at the counter inside the Walmart Auto Center clearly hate their jobs. The simple lack of respect they have for their customers, let alone being incompetent when it comes to battery and auto repairs. It is obvious they are there to work the counter, because they do not qualify to work in the Auto Center itself… I came in to ask about my battery warranty, purchased through Walmart, and CARL was beyond ignorant. He said “did you call?” And I said “no, I was not sure how to go about getting it replaced” and he continued to point out that I did not call, so he did not know if they had my battery in stock. (I may be a female, but I can find my own battery. Better yet, I can replace it myself!) I told him I already confirmed my battery was in stock, by physically checking myself. He then proceeds to tell me he can’t help me because I did not call. So I ask “How can I go about getting my battery exchanged? Who do I call?” And he responds “You don’t need to call.” I kid you not. Absolutely terrible experience, and terrible employee. On a more positive note, Bradley from the auto center was amazing. He was able to help me get my car serviced and my battery replaced in bo time. I explained I was short on time and willing to replace the physical battery myself, he was able to escalate my car and had it done in 20mins. He had a great attitude, very professional, and overall made this experience bearable. He deserves praise!I do not plan to ever return here, based off this single experience.Service: Battery

Not only was the manager Marta at the tire shop unprofessionable, but she was downright rude. If you're looking for goos customer service, this is not the place to go!

I went to get my tires changed and my rims got scratched as well as other parts on my car. They did fit me in and worked decently quick. The team lead Crystal was the worst employee I’ve ever encountered. It’s insane how she has employment anywhere as her level to comprehend or be generally decent to people/workers is nonexistent. We watched her yell at her pit crew and be rude to other customers. She was beyond unprofessional and a huge sore on the eyes. It’s uncomfortable as a shopper to be put to what felt like brutal torture having to look/be in the presence of someone so disgusting and vile. I really hope the higher ups help to wear a mask or possibly something like a full face cover as her appearance was nauseating and so bad it made me nervous. The other maintenance men were so nice and helpful. They were chatty and apologetic claiming they knew their boss was horrible. Would for sure go somewhere else if you can. There’s better options.Service: Tires

If you need a quick oil change this is a great place to go. You might wait a while but there's lots to do around. Always a great service.

Service is good, when they have staff. Management understaffs the auto center.I came in an hour after they were "open for business". They had no mechanics on shift to do any work. When I asked the cashier when they would be available for an oil change, the response was "I don't know. No one has shown up yet".I suppose I will have a different place now.(Edit and update)It is a management issue. The greeter and mechanics did a great and speedy job. While looking for other places to get my oil change, the mechanics came in (at their scheduled start time). The greeter took my info and got my keys. In around 30min my car was ready...But the cashier was nowhere to be found. (After 10 min he came off his break.)I don't begrudge employees for taking their breaks (legally mandated). I do blame management for understaffing.

Unfortunately this walmart auto center is not up to parr. A very rude Hispanic lady by the name of CRYSTAL, was extremely rude to me when all I asked was for my keys to be checked out- as I had already received the text to pick up my car. She was bothered by customers apparently. Rolled her eyes at me and spoke to me in a very disrespectful tone. Will never come back. I can take my service elsewhere, where it's actually appreciated.Service: Oil change

Called during the week to set an appointment to replace my TPMS sensors. Was informed they don't set appointments for minor stuff like that, just walk-in. Asked what time they opened on Friday....7AM she said.Arrived 7:12 AM Friday morning. All bay doors closed and customer entrance was still locked too. Walked around and used the main entrance, then walked to auto center in the back of the store. Stood there till 7:25 before someone came to the desk to assist customers. Gal informed me to pull up to the "Tire" bay and wait for further assistance. The customer entrance door was still locked and she had to come unlock it for me.Pulled my vehicle up to the bay per her instructions and had to set there until 7:40 before being helped by a technician. Tech that helped me told me it would be about 1-1/2 to 2 hours wait to replace the sensors and rotate tires! (Had to leave there by no later than 9:50 for another appointment. This could be cutting it close but I said lets do it.) Gave him my keys and went inside. At 8:54 I received a text stating "Your vehicle service has started!" At this point I'm concerned there isn't enough time to perform the service. I made my way to the front registers to pay for the few items I had picked up while waiting. Then I headed back to the auto care center to find the service desk unoccupied and the customer door won't open again! Approximately 5 minutes later, the gal showed up and I told her the door wasn't working again. She pressed a "button" behind the counter and the door did finally open.It is now 9:23 and my truck is setting in the bay on a lift, but nobody is working on it. I watch for the next 13 minutes and not a single person attends to it. At this point I completely frustrated and need to get someone's attention. They tell me they aren't going to be able to complete the service until sometime after 10 (at the earliest). I made it pretty clear how dissatisfied I was with their service. The tech that pulled my truck out from their bay suggested I make an appointment next time to avoid the long delay. I lost my cool and used explicit terminology to express it too. Told him I tried to make an appointment 3 days earlier! He handled my anger well, and seemed understanding to a point. Told me they are short staffed, tech called in sick and so on. Probably all true but I am tired of organizations that continue to use this post-covid excuse!!

Friday morning did not start off as planned when I needed to get a battery changed. I drove over to Walmart on Signal Butte just after 7 and seen they were open. There was one car and then I showed up. I thought this was going to be ok. After about 15 minutes waiting for the other car to get checked in, another drove in. The gentleman checking in the car completely ignored me sitting there, car still running in hopes to check they had my type battery before shutting it off. Nope, still waited, he never even acknowledged me as I continued to wait. He then went to help the 2nd customer that was there after me. Because I could not shut off the car incase I had to go to another location I was going to call there desk and just as I was doing that Marta showed up. She was kind, professional and understanding of my dilemma. I told her what happened and she said that is why I am here. She quickly checked the stock and they did have my battery type. She told me 2.5 hour wait and then came back with an 1.5 wait until Felipe heard and said "I can do that right now quickly" . To my surprise, he really did replace my battery in less then 10 mins. Not only did Felipe check/replace my battery, he checked all my tires and filled as necessary. Felipe and Marta exceeded my expectations and truly made my Friday morning less stressful with their exemplary work ethic. Thank you very much Marta and Felipe, Walmart needs more of you! You were both professional, compassionate and truly showed that you cared. For the other guy, he could sure learn a lot about being aware and being considerate and addressing customers as to not have us guessing as to what is going on or even providing direction. I would recommend he receive interpersonal communication skill training. He could truly benefit from it.Service: Auto battery replacement

Got in line at 8:33 am. Got my car in service at 9:28 am. Sat in the lobby and watched it sit there for 15 minutes. I barely saw people start working on it around 8:55. Will not be coming back to this location again.Service: Oil change

This auto center has gotten worse and worse. I got off work early to get my oil changed, I got here at 2:30, and they were shut down already. The hours say 3. I am just very disappointed. Last time I was here right at 7am and nobody showed up til 7:15 to even open the department. Over the last 6-9 months it's been awful every time I've come. Time for a new place.Service: Oil change
