They must be allergic to phones because they never answer

I'm normally not the person that complains about poor service but in this occasion it needs to be said. I been with Wells Fargo Bank for at least 12 years. On 8/22/24 I called Well Fargo to dispute a charge for the first time ever, after jumping trough hoops feels like it and got to the right person I expressed my concerns and requested to dispute a specific transaction for an specific amount even repeated my self 3 times the transaction, I was put on hold for a few minutes and then I was told that my disputed transaction was completed, when he confirmed the amount I told him it was the wrong transaction I was having a hard time hearing him so I asked if he could speak a little louder and he reply I do this for a living there is nothing wrong with my phone must be yours I replied that I couldn't hear him and he hung up the call. I went to the closes branch to me and explained everything to a teller and then I was introduced to Alexis Amarillas as a manager, she told they were just tellers and there was nothing they could do that I needed to speak to a banker but all bankers had appointments all day all though there was only one other customer inline behind me and no one at the desks with the bankers I was told to make an appointment for the next day or simply call the Customer Service number again. My concerns with that were, do I call the number were someone not only did not helped my resolve my issue but made it worse by disputing the wrong charge, do I make a second payment to the right company so I don't affect my payment history? How do I make sure I can get someone to actually help me with the right transaction and complete the call without just ending my call with no corrections on their actions? No one taking responsibility for their mistake as a company. I feel that at he very least take a few minutes to say lets call again and introduce her self a manager and at least make the effort to make a loyal customer of 12 years feel that if ever a problem you will be given at least effort to correct the problem. I feel that Alexis as a manager could have done more to help.

The last 3 times I (or an associate) came in to do some business transactions the manager came over and found some reason to deny it, about a year and a half ago I never had an issue. Not sure what arbitrary rules they're following but I was able to complete these transactions at other Wells Fargo locations. Do NOT go to this location if you want a simple, smooth experience.

Haven't been in a Wells Fargo in years. Went in to see about opening an account. Was told no one is available. Dude, why are you the only banker? Two more are on the line? It wasn't even that busy. There was time, I'm not even mad about being denied but the way it was handled was horrible. I know after the scandal years back I was told customer service was in the forefront. I guess this location forgot the memo. Thanks for nothing, I'll give it one more try at another location.

Tried to send a wire. Never have had an issue. Teller advised me all bankers were busy and that would not be able to see a banker until tomorrow. Several bankers were sitting in office. I have been banking with wells for over 10 years. I have going to change immediately.

Stopped in to add a signature to an account. I did not have an appt. Was told bankers had appts scheduled in 20 min so I could not be helped. There was 1 customer in the bank and several employees available. Not great customer service!

The manager was very infuriating to deal with. The teller was very sweet and kind and had talked me into upgrading my account, but when she asked for his help to withdraw money from my account, he started talking about some papers I didn’t signed because I opened my account online and when I mentioned to him I did signed them at a different branch last November, he started asking all these security questions like I hadn’t been a customer to this branch for the past year. He was dry and not interacting at all. Asking me questions and not even referring to me directly. When he was done, he left without saying anything to me or the teller. Extremely unpleased. The only reason they would get a star at all is because of how pleasant the teller was! Always something when I go in this branch. I can’t ever just go in and do a transaction and leave. It made me want to close my account m, rather than upgrading it!

I tried to deposit a cashier's check, as I have done many times, with correct reciepient name and account number. Under direct supervision of the new bank manager (Mark Barrios), they first called and verified authenticity of the check, stamped the check and hand-wrote on it and then refused to deposit it, because the check only had the initial of the reciepient first name. When I tried to show Barrios a copy of WellsFargo issued check that I had exactly used as my template, my response was "nothing you show me is going to change my mind". Left with a defaced check, I had to drive back to Chase bank, whom graciously accepted my request to re-issue another check.Half a day wasted, I finally managed to deposit the check.Mark Barrios acted like a bureaucrat who misused his authority; I had deposited in the same manner at other WellsFargo branches and Chase also confirmed that a correct intial should have been sufficient for a deposit, as long as other infos like account number and full name were correct.I hope WellsFargo would review its procedure for consistency, and demand better customer service from those who are supposed to set examples for others.

Mr Aaron Smith, banker, helped me with what i needed without any hesitation. He was glad to help with my situation and I am very amazed with his enthusiasm. He was willing to dig up any options that would help me. Once again, thank you Mr. Smith.

Unfortunately since COVID they have never staffed up to be able to help their customers. Often it’s a zero chance of getting a same day appointment with a banker. And the teller lines are usually really long.

19 people in line.... Are you kidding me? Only two employees at the counter, on occasion a third comes and goes... Just awful!
