Zimm's Guitars is the best guitar shop in town and a great place for music needs. It is considered the true successor to a former beloved local store. The shop has an excellent selection of used guitars, amps, and pedals galore, including specific models like Jackson Soloists. You never know what they’re gonna have in stock. The owner and his son are awesome individuals, fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable, with great customer service and a really warm smile. They provide a positive vibe and are a breath of fresh air for the community, even supporting their competitors. It is a place where you can just go hang and talk. Their prices are unbeatable and they are known for making great deals, often willing to haggle. Customers report getting badass pedals and good deals, finding it a pleasure to talk to them. People drive from far away, even from other states and Mexico, to visit. The shop is highly recommended as one of the best stores ever for used guitars and equipment, where you can play a variety of used gear. The business has moved and is now located at Alma School and Guadalupe.
Great little guitar shop that is privately owned and NOT a big corporate chain.... The owner is on site most days and knows more about the guitar instrument than humanly possible... He is also a kind person and honest... Do yourself a favor and stop by!

Store is a must visit! Dane made me feel very welcome. He did a setup and restring on my PRS, playing great. Also a huge inventory of used guitars, amps and effects pedals. Support this business!!!
