Went there on thurs night walked in at 649 pm raced to get there from work for a big dinner i had that night was told we are closing in 10 min were not taking anymore customers why stay open till 7 terrible way to do business ive went there for years will never go again as i sit here and write this its now 653 sad and businesses wonder why they dont have the clin

One of the younger women cut my hair like she had no clue what she was doing. She was trimming it while it was laying across my head. She said how does that look? So I said great and paid, then went down the road and got it fixed. The person who fixed it said it looked choppy, but after he fixed it he conceded and just said that was crazy. The place is good, just get one of the more mature ladies who know what they're doing.

SIERRA!!! as soon as I walked in, she greeted me politely and the first thing I told her is to not get offended, but I was looking for certain style, which I showed her some pictures of, and I explained more into depth about what I was looking for, and she listened to me and was straightforward with me, which I appreciated her honesty and at the end of it all, I walked out of there with my expectations met and then some. I have spent over $200 at high-end places for a style that Sierra was able to give me that those high costing salons could not do. I ended up tipping her more than the cost of the services because she deserved it and more. THANK YOU SIERRA!

6+ years my hair has been cut at Great Clips Anthem....have never been disappointed. The staff is talented and friendly.

These folks are always good solid professionals. I am not sure what that one person had done but this is great place to get a haircut. I guess you can't please everyone.

I showed them pictures of what I wanted. I even asked if they don’t know how to cut it this way please say so. I will go somewhere else. Looks nothing at all like the pictures I had to go back to have somebody fix what was done the first time. Now it is so short and buzzed. I can’t even say it’s a military haircut. I look like a total Dyke. Do those people know at all what they’re doing?

They called Cops on us!
I recently took my child to Great Clips for a trim, and my experience was infuriating. The hairdresser, Chloe (or Khloe), refused to cut my child's hair, claiming it was too knotted and would take all day to detangle, even though my child has a short haircut just below the ears. I detangled it myself at home without any issue.
Chloe later called my husband, offering to come to our home to detangle my child's hair for free. Due to the poor treatment we received at the salon, I didn't return her call. Shockingly, the next day, the cops showed up at my house to check on my child, having received a report from Great Clips suggesting abuse due to knotted hair. The officers found my child perfectly fine with no knotted hair.
This situation highlights several issues:
1. Incorrectly assuming my child's hair was too knotted.
2. Refusing to cut her hair based on this assumption.
3. Offering to come to my home to detangle the hair, then calling the cops when we didn't respond.
4. A lack of cultural sensitivity in dealing with people of color before resorting to calling the authorities.
While I understand the importance of protecting children, in this case, Great Clips actions were unnecessary and deeply offensive. And has caused great mental stress to me and to my children. How could they think this behavior of their employees is okay? The emotional stress we went through was unnecessary and uncalled for. Stay away from this salon. They will judge you if you're a person of color and act on their ill-informed assumptions. We have been living in Anthem for the last two decades, and this is the first time I have experienced such deplorable customer service. This whole experience was humiliating and very offensive. Don’t take your kids there. They do little work and make assumptions about you and your child. I will never go again.

I went today and was super pleased with my hair cut from Chloe. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen. My daughter (16) also loved her hair cut from the other female stylist that was there. (sorry she didn’t remember her name.) It’s nice to have an affordable, excellent place nearby.
