I recently switched from USAA to MidFirst Back. USAA back in the day was the little back that could; to the big bank that can't. It is refreshing to coming to a bank that treats you well and knows your name within the first few times you come in. The customer service is top tier.

As a 10 year (plus) client of Anthem Branch, Manager Nikolina Visnjic-Silva I want to express my highest accolades for Nikolina's being one of the very best, brightest bankers that I have done business with in both personal and business applications. After more than 25 years of doing business with major and very small local banking institutions in New York City, I have rarely found someone as knowledgeable, responsive and reliable - and ALWAYS with a smile. Her staff unfailingly provides the same level of attention whenever I need something taken care of, and again, always with good natured courtesy. I am looking forward to at least another ten years of banking services from Nikolina and MidFirst Bank.

I feel lucky to have found such diligent, punctual, kind, and honest (it's true!) guidance from my banker Nikolina. She always immediately responds to my requests and questions. We love our business and personal banking relationship with MidFirst Bank! Since relocating to North Phoenix in 2013, our local Anthem branch has always gone above and beyond and has provided excellent serve to our family for years!

Unfriendly to new customers!I heard that I could make a CD account with midfirst and they had good interest rates. I made an appointment on Saturday at 12pm with Joe. He did not see me until 12:40pm. When I finally did speak with him, it was like he didn't even want to help me open up a CD account. He said "We are a relationship focused bank" which I'm sure he meant for it to sound like they care about their people and customers, but in that context it sounded more like "I don't know you, you don't bank here, so I don't want to provide you with this service". He kept trying to get me to open a savings account which has a lower interest rate.In the end, he didn't even open a CD account for me that day. He said he would schedule an appointment for me so we could meet up during the week and open the CD and savings account then (I didn't want a savings and said multiple times). I got a text reminder for my appointment at 12pm on Saturday. I did not get a text reminder for my appointment during the week. So I don't think Joe even actually made an appointment for me. If relationships are so important, you don't treat your customers this way. You don't make them wait 40 minutes after their appointment. You don't disregard their wishes and try to get them to open up an account they don't want. You don't lie about making an appointment.I guess Joe doesn't know me and I'm not rich enough to be part of his cool kids club, so no CD account for me.

By far one of my favorite branches to do business with. Nikolina is hands down one of our favorite people to work with. She is so knowledgeable, her response time is quicker than quick! And she is by far the reason we stay with Midfirst!
