We stopped by on a whim and were warmly greeted by the owner who let us pet several of the donkeys (my favorite!) and mustangs she was caring for on her property.Most of them are wild rescues (from roundups) that she is training for adoption. Very fun little outing. Left a donation with the owner and were on our way.

From One Step Wild Burros and Mustang Rescue

Seeing a need for a wild burro and mustang rescue, foster and adoption in our community , we formed our organization to provide sensible solutions. Since 2018 we have rescued and adopted out 32 equine - all with the support of generous donors and volunteers. Our volunteers in the community gain life-enhancing skills by assisting in the rehabilitation of these equine and proving them with the loving attention they deserve.
