Rip off. I was under the understanding that I was paying a solid fixed monthly fee on a contract the was 12 months long. Nope! 3 months after move-in and my supposed “locked in special internet rate” my payments went up, over $30. I was told “but you were sent a card……” No, I wasn’t. I was livid and lied to saying that the price shouldn’t go up again in the next year, because it only does it once a year. Liars. It shouldn’t have gone up at all! I was so mad and was told basically there was nothing they could do, but to call in every month and “They would see what they could do to lower it” So basically I will have to go out of my way to call and beg every month for a decent price, that they have the absolute power to change BTW, so you don’t move. I got talked into under duress, while I was at work trying to do my job, into staying and paying the new price. Then it stayed the same price for only a few months! My initial payment started out at $106 went up to $138, now they are trying to shake me down for $258!!! That’s more than double the original price I agreed to. I was never told I’d be on a month to month. This is ludicrous and a bait and switch! Fake internet deal then up my rates twice in less than 10 months!! I suggest people steer clear of Extra Space Storage. It’s a scam and deceptive business practices. These FTC will be receiving my complaints, as the BBB site shows tons of complaints, especially in the last year, for the very same lies and fake promotions. Price gouging customers when their own internet rates online do not reflect “The market rate” that I am being over charged $70. Apartment complexes are being sued by the AG of AZ currently for this same AI generated fake market scam. Don’t fall for this illegal bait and switch!

This company gets it “service with a smile” you get a real sense of congenial service you feel attended to and represented professionally Kind of like being a club member . The grounds are immaculate with very clean restrooms. Oh,” with restrooms” … I don’t know one storage facility I’ve ever been to that has rest rooms .
