Walgreens pharmacy is closed again today. Management for Walgreens has been lagging hiring backup pharmacists. Previously, there were two pharmacists, but one (Ping) was transferred. Now, if the one pharmacist is sick or has a personal issue - the pharmacy is closed. Not to mention that it is closed on the weekends. The people are overworked. Walgreens is pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into a minute clinic at this location - how about staffing up Walgreens before I change to CVS?

Do you like to make your own mixes? Well, at Walgreens, this one actually, you get to make your own Worst Pharmacy ever one.Take 50% of a drive-thru that only open half the time, the other half they use a shopping cart to block it.Add 25% for pharmacy staff who seem incredulous that you are asking for the meds they - Walgreens has notified you to pick up and then top it with another 22% for them grilling you to see if it is really you, because you know there apparently is a black market for meds that are non narco. I mean who knew a cold suppressant was the hottest thing in this dark web.The final 3 percent is the ad nauseam of asking for you to enter in your Walgreens number and then the "well, you wont get your rewards, if you don't" verbiage they espouse. Her is my reward to you. Go. Anywhere but here. if you reside in northern OV go to the Walgreens on Vistoso and Oracle, in Oro Valley.

About a week ago my care of a wound was delayed because the phone system kept saying my med was being refilled- even though the store closed out of the blue for 2 days. It happens, I get it. However, then I went in today and was aware they were in break- per the sign and per all the shutters closed. However- due to the above impromptu complete closure days, I was checking in at the front to find out if it was just lunch they were closed for or were they closed all together. I felt they may be closed all together as there was a sign on their shutter that said a pharmacist is not on duty and no meds could be filled... which again, given the previous episode, I just wanted to know if it was lunch or the day- so I asked the cashier. He was very nice and when a female pharmacy staff member with long black hair walked in, he simply asked her if they were open again at 2 after lunch and she looked at me and said "well we have to have that sign up when there isn't a pharmacist." She was clearly agitated so I tried to nicely explain that I wasn't trying to be a bother, it's just they had closed all together unexpectedly the other week so I was checking and she just said "well if you'd bothered to have read the other sign, you'd know we were on lunch." Rude. Very rude. I've never had such a rude experience and someone make me feel about an inch tall in any store anywhere. I left in tears and felt mortified in front on the male cashier and that wasn't right. I would like contacted by the store manager via a message here so I know someone may let her know she needs to be kind and professional and have a little compassion and composure.

HR or the Health Department. Needs to look into why this walgreens is storing meds in the break room refrigerator as with other employees lunches. Also hearing abroad walking the store manager , I think his name is Antonio going on to another employee about how bad his team is and how nothing ever gets done. ALSO loud mouthing other employees and never saying good job to them is horrible. One thing as a customer is thats horrible and I also here the Cosmetic lady always talking crap about the customers...which one is pretty or which one looks Mexican or black or which person looks like a thief...I heard her name in cosmetics called out as Valorie. I hope these people will be nice to customers and stop making fun of people behind their backs. My cousin works here and I feel so bad for her. We thank God don't1 look related but she tells me the pharmacy is just as bad and Michelle, and Sarah make fun after someone picks up there meda. Sarah i once saw drinking outside this store and I these employees smoke right by the front door. It's so weird and horrible to walk into this walgreens with a gust of after cigarette smoke from a pharmacist. ANTONIO is a creep aka assistant manager (who will spontaneously drive you up the wall with zoning and treat you like a slave, AND MIKE (MIKE store manager) is like secretly dating Valerie who is married. Its the worst walgreenes to work for they make fun of all the customers that come in and leave...so 2 faced. Both Carol's are some faced as well with customers its a shame. I feel really bad for the people that need help.

I would say that potentially Covid is impacting the service of this pharmacy, however, I had these issues prior to Covid as well. My doctor called in my prescription and an hour and a half later when I went to the pharmacy they still hadn't even checked their voicemail. The tech or a pharmacist behind the counter was so rude to me when I explained to her that it had been called in and that they hadn't checked their voicemail. They then told me it would be ready in an hour and to wait for the notification call. I didn't get the notification call until four hours later. Prescriptions are not some thing where sloppy service is acceptable. I had a terrible infection and needed to get onto antibiotics as soon as possible. 5 1/2 hours later just to get the prescription is absolutely unacceptable. Covid or no Covid, that kind of service repeatedly has made me choose another pharmacy, despite it being further away than this one. Other reviewers have said the same thing. So it's time to take my business elsewhere.

Time after time the pharmacy is the slowest ever. You would think I would have learned after several years and many scrips. But after to today I will be trying some place else.

Was there today and the pharmacy tech was preparing prescriptions without a mask. Preparing prescriptions for sick, vulnerable, people and no mask. Way to go, Walgreen's. You have to wear a mask to walk in and buy a pack of gum, but they can infest your medication???

I transferred all our prescriptions from another Walgreens to this one. I do not regret it at all. The pharmacist "Ping" is top notch. Professional and efficient. Always gives thorough explanations and takes the time to answer my questions. Consistent quality.

Worst Walgreens ever. I have never gone here not once and had a positive experience. Every time I come in I'm treated rudely by the staff. The prescription are NEVER ready even when they call you ahead of time. It's not just me either I've witnessed this with others on several occasions. I'm done not returning to this drug store even tho its the most Convenient. I recommend you avoid al So.

Severely understaffed, 20-30 minute waits are typical. If you value your time go elsewhere as they certainly don't value yours.

You could have a regular stock of typical asthma medication - you doctor calls in a prescription on Friday at 9:00 am and you must wait until Monday??? Come on!! This is no longer a pharmacy you can trust and count on - have stuck with them for years for the drive-thru for convenience, and not wanting to transfer a big families scripts - DONE!!
