The pharmacy is terrible. They never have medication in stock, then they sent us to another pharmacy who didn't have it in stock either and we were sent on a wild goose chase throughout the Tucson area. Not patient or customer service friendly. Very dissatisfied.

Terrible customer service and stock alcohol that's been sitting on the shelf for months because not a lot of people apparently buy alcohol here especially wine - will never shop in this store again and which is why I shop at CVS or target!

We are 3 years new to Tucson and have marveled at the level of curtesy, helpfulness, and friendliness that we have encountered - especially with our interactions with business employees. Well, I'm sorry to say that this took a hit today with a Walgreen employee in the pharmacy. My husband (btw a doctor) could not find an over-the-counter item. He asked Gaby for assistance. She redirected him to where he had looked. He asked if she could look the item up to see if it was stocked. She instructed him to look again. He did. Not finding it he returned to her and again asked her to look the item up. She just turned and left. He went to someone else saying that Gaby had been helping him but they were unable to find the item. (Being the nice guy that he is!). She IMMEDIATELY (without being asked) looked the item up and they were able to go directly to it. Unfortunately Gabby did not provide good service to the customer - when she could have without much effort. To just turn and walk away leaving a customer unfulfilled is just plain rude.

I got there on a Saturday 3/27 at 7pm. I love Walgreens and the deals you can get from the yellow tags. So I get my shopping and there are no tags anywhere. So I get to askin the cashier, Arlene, and they say they take down there yellow tags every Saturday. they don't close til 10 at nite. It clearly doesn't take 3 hours to pulls yellow stickers off the shelves. So I really go for the pop sales. And they have them advertised out front. Well since they took down the yellow tags I didn't know the sales. And apparently the cashier who works all week passing the soda deal signs, couldn't even tell me the sale they had on pop. All she said is she could ring up the pop and see if there's a sale. It's honestly bull crap. Those stickers don't need to be pulled before 7pm.

Pharmacy is always nice. My first series of shots, they were super efficient. Was a bit of a wait for my booster- even with an appointment. But they were having computer issues. It happens. Overall a good store at Oracle and Vistoso.

Your cashier Don was amazing! He was cheerful and got through a long line efficiently all while having a smile on his face!

Had a horrible experience with a pharmacist. I won't write about the whole ugly incident. Bottom line was this pharmacist was so hostile and disrespectful, after 30 minutes of his verbal abuse, I ended up in tears. All over some skin cream. I will never step into a Walgreens again. I will drive out of my way.

I have had good and bad experiences at Walgreens Pharmacy at Rancho Vistoso. The only BAD experiences I had was when I was using pain medication, and they were extremely stringent to the point of being rude . But, that was long ago. The pharmacy manager at the time was very kind to make sure my orders were in, as I had an unusual prescription. However, now that I am no longer on constant pain medications I have had nothing but GREAT experiences there. All of the pharmacy techs are kind, caring and efficient. They remember me, which often surprises me, as I am not there often. That makes the place seem like your hometown pharmacy, which is rare in this impersonal age And they never fail to give my service dog a treat, which makes the experience extra special. I would never use another pharmacy in this area. I highly recommend Walgreens

NB. Several issues need to be addressed by Walgreens pharmacy district supervisor in charge of this site : 1) I believe it's illegal for a nonpharmacist store manager to hand out prescription drug refill (as he did today); 2) when I asked him if he was a pharmacist he said "no" and became rather testy when I asked for a plastic vial in which to put my eye medicine. I ask for this *every* time I come here as I travel AND have cats that bat at the bottle unless it's in a vial. You really don't want dirty cat feet on eye drop bottle. A tech then came over and said the comment was not in my record. Do I really have to make a special request every time???? Your menu system has no options if that's true. 3) it took 4 full days for pharmacy to get my refill of Travatan Z. I was told I could go to another store to get it but told them I'd wait. What's up with a delay like that?

The pharmacy at Walgreens on Oracle at Rancho Vistoso is amazing Their drive-up pick up window allows for faster foot traffic within the store & you hardly ever have to make an appointment or be kept waiting; Brianne Spartz and her staff have a full supply of " yellow card " shots for overseas travel which makes it very convenient for people like my wife & I who go overseas frequently Possibly the best pharmacy we've dealt with anywhere !!

I guess I should have read the previous reviews about this Walgreens store. Unfortunately, this is the only drug store in the area (we desperately need other options!). My plan was to drop off my prescription in the drive through lane and pick it up a day or two later. After an abysmally long wait, I handed over my prescription to the clerk (who had such a heavy accent I could barely understand her) and she came back and told me my prescription was not a prescription but a procedure! I informed her that the prescription was used in order to perform a procedure and showed her where on the form the prescription was located. After another long wait, the same (barely understandable) clerk again says, "This is not a prescription!" - where was the pharmacist? I should have asked for the pharmacist but I was so frustrated that I just left. Now my physical therapist is having to get involved! Worst experience EVER! Gosh we need more options in this area!
