Wahweap Campground & RV Park

Hours: Wahweap Campground & RV Park is a well-located site at Wahweap Marina, about a quarter mile from Lake Powell’s shore. It offers stunning views over the lake and convenient access to a variety of water activities with many powerboats and water toys available. Visitors can enjoy amenities such as the Wahweap Grille, Wind gift shop, and the Lake Powell Resort’s lounge. The campground is suitable for winter stays, providing a peaceful retreat away from the busy seasons. The sites are long and have concrete pads, with some offering full or partial hookups, including double-wide options. Many sites are close together, especially the buddy sites, but all provide good views of Lake Powell. Restrooms and showers are clean, though showers cost extra and have limited time. The campsite office closes early, making late check-in difficult, and some guests found it challenging to locate their sites at night. The area is close to town, but walking to the lake can be a long route, so bringing a car or bike is recommended. While the location and views are excellent, some felt that the prices, including shower fees, were high. Overall, it’s a great spot for lake access, water fun, and enjoying the natural beauty of Lake Powell.
