“My wife and I were on vacation and staying at a RV Campground in Payson AZ. Last Wednesday 7/10/24 we decided to take a trip to Heber AZ and do some shopping. We have a 2007 Toyota 4Runner that is in pretty good condition unfortunately just past the Woods Canyon Lake turnoff on 260 I started hearing a noise from under the hood and then the temperature gauge showing hot!
Pulled over and stopped and opened the hood and saw that engine drive belt was shredded and that one of the belt tensioners had seized and destroyed the drive belt. It’s a sinking feeling setting along side of the road, with a disabled vehicle that now needs to be towed and repaired!
Long story short we had the vehicle towed 43 miles back to Payson and dropped off at Firestone repair facility.
I spoke with Carl Storgaard the service manager, very nice individual and explained the situation with our 4Runner.
Carl said that he can get the vehicle in for repair the next day and complete the repairs.
I told Carl that I wanted his technician to replace all idler bearings and main belt tensioner and obviously the drive belt.
Carl called the following afternoon and said our vehicle should be ready in about an hour and price out the door which was very fair! Carl even had someone pick us up at the campground because we had no other drive unit! I spoke with Victor the technician, very polite and experienced individual!
I know this is lengthy sorry but if you need any automotive service I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FIRESTONE SERVICE CENTER!!!!
Be sure and ask for Carl and recommend Victor!!!!”

We felt no pressure to buy, and he was very accommodating as we moved from vehicle to vehicle. The only down side was the closing process which was typical dealer - time consuming. Not as length, with the pressure we would have experienced from a Phoenix area dealership, but still, plan on a few hours from entering the dealership to completion of sale.We are glad to have found a vehicle that will work for us in Payson so we could support a local business.”

“I was camping in Payson on a Saturday when my check engine light turned on in my Jeep. I drove it into Chapman Jeep and Paul in service offered to pull the code. Turns out it was in need of a software update and even though they were short staffed on a weekend day with reduced hours they worked me in, got the system updated and even confirmed that the update was under warranty. I was back on the road confident that I was safe on the long drive home. I highly recommend Chapman Jeep in Payson!”

“Came here after getting a flat out off-roading. Changed my tire and put on a spare and drove straight here with the spare on. I walked right in and they immediately started working to patch my flat tire. They were able to repair it for me for a small charge without me having to buy a whole new tire. “Sometimes living in a small town allows vendors to provide less than optimal outcomes for the services they provide. That is not the case with Liz and Bob. They take pride in the work they do and provide it in an honest, open and friendly manner. Our car was technically totaled and we were pressured by the insurance company to settle with them and buy another car. We love our car and asked Bob his opinion on whether it was “fixable” to the degree that we could safely drive it. He assured us it was and we put our trust in him. So glad we did!! We have our beautiful car back and it looks like it was never damaged!! We could not be happier and highly recommend Bob and Liz.”

“Mike's custom auto body worked on my two vehicles this year. Several months ago, they worked on my tacoma trd pro. The front bumper and the trim around it had to be replaced and painted. Paint job was fantastic; matched the factory cavalry blue. Yesterday, we picked up my wife's forester. Two side doors were replaced and painted. Did a wonderful job with the pearl white paint. Thoroughly enjoyed dealing with Mike and Jesse. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing body and paint work.”
