We went to the movies today for my son’s birthday to find a sign on the door that says Closed on Wednesday. There was nothing posted online that the movies were closed on Wednesdays. Our kids were very disappointed!

Very cool theater. Wife and I popped into town, lil layover on our trip back to Prescott.. decided to check out the Sawmill theater. Good old style walkup outside ticket booth. Good concession choices. Always got to get Popcorn, Milk Duds, Red Vines and drink. We watched F1. Great movie experience all the way around.
No preselected seats... First come first serve.. Seats were pretty nice. Loved the light cover design on side of theater room.

My family loves this theater. They've got excellent upgraded concessions and the staff is always so friendly.
Watching a movie is a great experience. The staff remember us and ask how we've been, talk about movies, and make everything better.

There is accessible parking and large wide accessible ramp to get you to the theater entrance. The restrooms were reasonably clean and they even have water fountains right outside which is nice to fill up your water bottles.
Inside, the concessions line wasn't too bad on a weekend. The popcorn was tasty, and they were generous with the butter. I liked how well-popped it was- there were no hard kernels. Nice and seasoned as well. Pricing was decent at $7 for a small bag.
Inside, they also had some games on the side- it's an old-fashioned cozy theater feel.
