I live by myself and have very little trash so I only put my trash can out 1 to 2 times a month, however at Christmas time I did have more trash than normal and my lid was up about 5 inches from being closed. They charged me an extra $5.00 because of it. Needless to say my trash can will be out every time they come by now.
