“Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church is a very beautiful and meaningful place for the Vietnamese Catholic community in Phoenix. The church has a distinctive Vietnamese architectural style, which makes it feel familiar and special, especially for Vietnamese people living far from home.
What impressed me most was the peaceful and reverent atmosphere. The church is spacious, well maintained, and the surroundings are very pleasant. It is not only a place for attending Mass and prayer, but also an important place where the Vietnamese community can gather, preserve their faith, language, culture, and traditions.
The parish offers Mass in Vietnamese, which makes it especially welcoming for Vietnamese families in Arizona. I also appreciate the sense of community here and the way the church helps connect generations of Vietnamese Catholics living in the United States.

“100% God. This church has services at 9am and 11am on Sunday mornings. 7pm Wednesday nights. They have various ministries from young people to food pantry to prison ministry and everything in between. God filled and Spirit breathed!”

- Looking for a change!
- Tired of being just a number and a Sunday Christian in a Mega Church that teaches false doctrines, handpicking and compiling different Bible verses, and twisting the Word to promote their political, financial and bigoted agenda
- Looking to grow spiritually, learn in-depth teaching of the WORD verse by verse from the most humble Pastor and Church Leaders (Elders), and to encounter amazing people and develop meaningful friendship/relationship with such welcoming congregation.
- Looking to focus on serving the surrounding community (not an unheard of remote town of a third world country to lay guilt on you so you can give more money and they can say its being used to help someone who you cannot verify, so just take their word for it)
- Tired of Overwhelming Noisy Rock Concert for Worship Songs, with the band more focused on showmanship than leading on Worshipping the Lord.
- Tired of display of arrogance, being on a pedestal, and not knowing your Pastor personally, cause you only know him via Satellite service, or he is too important to get to know his congregation in person.
- Having a teen daughter/son who will be accepted by their Peers in the Youth Group who will be a good influence, and walk with them through their daily pressure of being a teen ager.
- Tired of being Judged, or seeing other people be judged and condemned by the church and its hypocrite members. We are all SINNERS regardless of how big or small your sin is. Unfortunately, certain church tend to believe that there are acceptable and unacceptable sins, which gives them the right to judge, condemn and reject those who does not agree with their belief, but really needs God the most.
- Tired of offering plate being passed around during service which forces/manipulates you to give. Tithing should be between you and God, not you and the Church, for God loves a Cheerful Giver, not give because of obligation or compulsion. 2 Corinthians 9:7
- Tired of Bureaucracy of Churches that only accepts you if you abide by their rules. Membership should never be a requirement unless you want to be a part of a Cult.
- Just simply wanting to rely on His Grace and Mercy and not from any kind of works -Ephesians 2:8-9 . To be accepted for who you are. To know that someone will be there for you while you struggle with daily challenges of life. Everyone will continue to struggle and sin everyday, that's why Jesus died for us, cause we can NEVER be perfect...And if you are willing to accept that, then you know being a Christian does not mean you are perfect, living a perfect life, but know that you are LOVED and SAVED!

“The only reason I do not attend on a regular basis is because I play bass guitar and sometimes 6 string on a he worship team of a different church, but this is a great church and is closer to my house. So, I do attend occasionally.”

“We love Venture Church. As already mentioned, it’s a very loving and friendly church. It really feels like family and fellowship here. Pastor Joel and Gretchen are just wonderful people. I think what we love most about this church is that it doesn’t feel like we’re going to a show or a performance. It just feels like family church. Having said that, our worship band is actually quite good. It just doesn’t have that “mega church” feel. Nothing wrong with churches, but some people want something different and that’s what this place is. I definitely recommend a visit.”

You'll feel God's presence and the worship group amazing, they have classes for toddlers and kids and also for pre-teens. it's amazing how clean and organize the people are. A highly recommend it, if anybody is looking for a place to congregate, this is it.”
“If you are in need of help the Salvation Army 🙏 is where you definitely need to go. They offer food, showers, worship, rent assistance, utility assistance, hot breakfast, resource referrals, and more. Nice new building. It's a cooling center to do grab a free water and cool off during the summer 🌞 heat.”

You can definitely feel the presence of God and the movement of the Holy Spirit at this church. The service starts with gospel music while you are led into praise and worship.
