This repair shop hired us to repair their plumbing equipment. After agreeing to a price and completing the repairs they refuse to pay the bill. I can only assume they use the same bait and switch tactics on their customers as they do with their vendors. Extreme caution should be used when hiring them.

This will be my go to auto shop! Very honest on what’s going on with your vehicle. I took my car to a few places to get quotes and they all quoted a ridiculous amount and a list of other problems. Kanes automotive was honest and gave a good price. Thank you!

I came to Kane's through referral and went directly to his shop. He told me he was busy and would call me. 1 week later, I called him, he apologized and said he would call me next week for sure. Never did, I called again, reminded him, he came by referral and asked if he wanted my business. He apologized again, then booked me for a Monday appointment right away. Since he came by referral, I trusted him and told him money was no object. My truck has been meticulously taken care of since new. My last mechanic worked for me for 20 years before retiring to another State, (I so miss his integrity). I provided Jim with all the maintenance records / history, including the issues written out in hardcopy. I had 2 main issues and some enhancements I planned for later. The rear brake drums appeared to be out of round but working good and a misfire, stuttery acceleration issue between 1000rpm - 2000rpm. He kept the truck for 1 week. He charged me $800 to turn the rear drums, add new shoes, new cylinders, fresh fluid. But he did not check the front breaks. He then replaced the, (not old) spark plugs because he didn't like the brand and adjusted the timing. Evidently, they never took my truck for a test drive before or after. The breaks still have an out of round, stopping issue. And there is no change in the stuttery acceleration between 1k-2k. SO, I received $200 in parts that I potentially didn't need and $600 in labor costs that did not resolve the issues I brought the truck in for. I really feel taken advantage of by Jim Kane and will NEVER go back there! "Fool me once shame on you" Never again, Honest.

Well Jim, I wracked my brain for the past few hours wondering why you ignored me while watching you process 4 customers who came in after me. I don't understand why you told me Monday to bring my van in this morning and then treat me in such a way without a word. You know I have been coming to you since 1998 with multiple vehicles. I have never disrespected you and always kind. I cannot figure out how I could have offended you in anyway. But whatever it was you could have spoken to me. I would have asked your forgiveness immediately. You could have even been professional and just told me you no longer wished to provide me service and I would have respected that. But I patiently waited for you to finish with the 4th customer and just politely asked for my keys and went home. I will just leave it in the Lord's hands.

Great service and finished the vehicle in a timely manner. Great prices and worked with me to pick up the vehicle on my own time.Update: we continue to have great service by these guys. Able to solve our vehicle issues quickly and at fair prices.

I have never had a bad experience with Kane's. They have corrected several issues from other automotive shops at a better price than the original repair and their repairs have held up. I won't go anywhere else.
