Grooming: Lack of empathy and basic care for my dog. If you don't like dealing with certain dogs, find a new place to work. This store has lost a customer. I will let others know. Specifically a lady with red and black hair.

The grooming tech we had today (girl with red and black hair) was impatient and no customer service skills. Truly disappointed.

Honestly I'm not sure how PetSmart is still in business, all of the exact same branded items on Amazon or other stores even are a fraction of the cost and now they have the new membership program where just putting in your email address and item is nearly 40 to 50% off putting it in line with what other stores and Amazon are selling it as. So you're not really getting a deal like they make you seem like it. Finding assistance is also difficult as there's usually ever one or two people working on the floor and one person's either helping someone out and the other person is checking out a line that has 20 people lined up with it going all the way down halfway through the store. The past couple times I've been in the store over the past few weeks it's been like this every single time. I've immediately walked in saw the mess and the line of people, and immediately turn around and walked out of the store. That is not something on there to deal with. I personally hate buying stuff from Amazon so I'm doing less and less I'm going to stores again but whenever I see a store so poorly run I just go right back to getting it delivered. The one thing I do like though, is whoever they hire for the fish department each time I've been in there, the fish department people have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable! So that is one good thing that I glad that they do

Tried petsmart after having a few bad experiences with other local groomers. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and care they provide to my dog. She looked like a new puppy when she was done. So many compliments on her cute little hairdo. Great prices too🥰

Took our new Poodle puppy to get him groomed. They were good at explaining the process that they go through with puppies. The staff was way friendly, and the dog seemed very much unfazed by the experience.

So that puppy right there is a very special girl. She was at doggie day care (which was great) and signed up for the grooming (2nd time I've had her groomed here). The groomers are the best!!! The first time they were cuddling her when I got there. This time she was still in the grooming table and they didn't know I was there and I watched them as they groomed her. It was adorable! The groomers took her kisses engaged her was gentle and so very sweet to her. I took the picture from outside the grooming space. Anyway, if you are worried about how your fur baby will be treated, let me tell you it's how they treat them when they don't know you're watching is what matters and Pippi was happy as I've seen her when she was being groomed. And they also did a beautiful job on the service. Thank you to all the groomers at PetSmart at Lake Pleasant you are the best! Thank you for loving on my lil angel and treating her with such great care!

Back in October, I scheduled my dogs to stay November 23rd thru 27th .
During the booking I asked if the needed anything before their stay, specifically the vaccine records. I was told, "Nope we have them and they're all good."
I go to drop them off at 5pm on Saturday the 23rd, as we leave in the middle of the night for our trip, and am then informed that their Bordetella vaccines expired Oct 29th so they can't take them.
I of course am confused and inform the guy at the front desk that when I booked I was told everything was up to date. His response was "We'll when you booked them in, they were, but now they are not."
Why on earth, would you not inform the customer that the vaccine was coming up due before their scheduled stay instead of telling them " they're all good. " ?
I asked them to please check the printed record I had originally sent to them to make sure. Then, what I assume was the manager, the fat lady sipping on a giant soda and stuffing her face in the office off to the side doesn't even turn around but yells, from the office, that she's looking at it and that the vaccine is overdue.
Doesn't even turn around to speak to me.
Doesn't even give a simple apology for the oversight and incorrect information I was given when I booked the appointment.
Absolutely zero concern for the predicament they have now put me in.
I admit, I should have verified the dates of my pets vaccines myself, instead of taking the receptionists word for it. However, the staff does need to inform customers if something is coming up due before their dogs stay ESPECIALLY when the customer specifically asks about them.
And then, when an issue like this does occur, have some customer service skills of empathy and trying to apologize and help correct the oversight.
