Our motor home has 3 slides two of which started leaking. We hired sun city to replace all 3 seals. Next time it rained, all 3 slides leaked. Their explanation was, because our unit was 20 years old, it was going to leak. We took it to State Trailer. They replaced all the seals and we have no more leaks. We will not return or recommend Sun City RV to anyone. Terrible customer service and very poor workmanship. Buyer beware.

Parts came up missing while on consignment. Finally went and picked it up before more parts mysteriously came up missing. Tail lights just don'f fall off. Tops of air conditioner on roof don't come off unless they are taken off. I would not recommend this place. They were nice up front, but (our RV was super clean and in good working order). Also, when we called we were given the run-around when answering questions why had not sold by stating the same canned answer over and over again. Felt like they are just out to make a quick dime at the customers expense. They try to jack the price up to only give you a call and low ball the owner.

I had my 2000 Fleetwood Bounder towed in to Sun City RV to get checked over in general, and to get the starter and the retractable entry stairs fixed, in particular. (The starter was intermittent; sometimes it would work, and sometimes it wouldn't, but the stairs didn't work at all.) During the inspection, I found that the propane tank was very badly rusted, I needed to be replaced, as well. So I gave them the go-ahead. Unfortunately, they are very understaffed (they only had one technician as they had just laid off 4 other incompetent ones). As a result, they had my Bounder for over two months. They got the propane tank replaced, but the starter and stairs were still intermittent. So I took it back in, and held it for another month. When I got it back this time, the starter and stairs were working, but later, on after I parked it, the stairs would not retract! So I had to drive it with the stairs extended! And I finally gave up on them, and decided to take my RV someplace else to get it fixed. I did not want to waste any more time and money with them.

I can't even give it a rating. They're very nice to your face, but the list they gave me was outrageous. One of our main problems that we did have they didn't even point out on the list they're just out to get your money.

FOLLOW UP:I received both a phone call and Email from Don Roberts from Sun City RV in regards to my review. We spoke about what happened and why. First I will start off by saying our sales representative Carlos was very helpful and kind. However, my husband and I were interested in purchasing an rv , CASH mind you. We set up an appointment for 5/19 to inspect the Rv before purchase, upon inspection we noticed the roof was black. Some people may think no big deal but if you know rvs you know a black roof is a bad roof. According to Dicor (maker of the rubber for Rv roofs) you cannot re-coat the roof once it is black. Meaning, we would have to replace the whole rubber, 42ft of rubber (not cheap). Dicor also says you cannot reuse the same plywood under the rubber so we would have to pay for that. Parts and labor we would have been in the ball park range of $10,000 to $12,000. With all that being said I told Carlos and showed him photos of the roof and he stated "we will just have them come pick it up because we wouldnt make any money on it" it's a consignment lot so I understand. I called back to see if I was able to have the owners number since I am under the impression they are going to have him pick it up and I was interested in it. When I called I reached Mark, he was very rude and unprofessional. How unfair for you to refuse to give the owners number all because you have some money into it. Mark stated "we would have to get paid on it because we have money into it" which is fine. Had he been nicer I would've offered to pay "Sun city RV" whatever they have in it. The fact that you would even have an RV out there with that bad of a roof is a complete scam on your end, just so you can swindle someone who doesn't know about RVs and get your piece of change? Ridiculous.

Sun City RV is great. Their service department is great. John, Stacy and Julie are very professional. We had 2 motors on our slide outs replaced and with the help of Julie the promised date for completion was met. It was a real relief since we were starting a 4 month journey in our 5th wheel and we now will be on time for all our reservations. I have used Sun City RV for 3 years now and their service department is #1.Dan T

The response from Mark is simply untrue. Not everything on the list of things I requested to be fixed were done. I didn't list the sewer hose because I didn't know there wasn't one! Y'all should tell people that. When I called to ask about the sewer hose, I was told to go buy one. I was not told that you sell them. I realize you are not responsible for anything once the rig leaves the lot, but I didn't expect to drive off the lot and have things fall apart, which is why I didn't mention those things earlier. I didn't contact you afterwards because 1.) the first time I did I didn't get much help, and 2.) I knew that buying on consignment basically means you buy it as is.As far as the RV listing as sold on the site, again, untrue! For weeks before purchasing the RV I had been looking at the site and saw all kinds of RVs listed as sold, so to say you had "just started marking RVs sold and leaving them on the site soon after" I picked up the rig is a blatant lie.Frankly, the response to my original review just made me even more upset with Sun City RV.

You will not find a better place to buy a RV then Sun City RV. Sales person Lisa was top notch. Lisa actually took the time to listen to me to better understand what I wanted/needed. She was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. At no time did I feel pressured. I highly recommend Lisa if you are in the market to purchase an RVGlenn in fiance is awesome also. He worked hard to find a company to finance me. Glenn kept me informed along the way.

Amazing customer service. We picked up our new Entegra Odyssey 24B and headed out for our shakedown trip in the mountains. We were having trouble getting the levelers to work and we called just near the end of closing hours. Traci answered our call and though the Techs were gone for the day, she found Jim in Service who was able to explain the process of turning OFF the house batteries and then turning ON the ignition key of the Ford Chassis before letting auto-level do it's job. We couldn't find a manual and this just absolutely saved our first camping weekend. We are SO grateful to Tracy and Jim for spending the 10 minutes on the phone with us and making our customer experience AWESOME with SunCity RV and Jayco/Odyssey.5 GOLD stars to our friends at SunCity!!

I went in to Sun City Rv to get my trailer fixed. Employees not helpful and seem to be upset when asked to look at trailer. After pulling some teeth employee finally came out to look at trailer.I was told trailer couldn't be fixed would need to purchase another trailer.I took my trailer to Jacksons Trailers. They fixed my trailer same day cost $25.00If you trailer being lied to and ripped off go to Sun City Rv. If you want good quality service come to Jacksons Trailers in Glendale. You won't regret it.
