While camping on the Black River, we saw 4 bears within our four day stay.

Did not open on time after calling the day before to confirm hours. Drove 2 hours to get here. There is no other location to get a permit.

Very nice staff, they were happy to help us get licenses to see the poppies. They also were happy to explain all of the different taxidermied animals that had made records being hunted on the reservation.
