Alejandra the owner is one of the kindest and most talented stylists I've ever met. She is gifted, kind and generous. This beautiful salon is also an art gallery with some of the most beautiful and unique paintings exhibited along with a small bookstore selection. A definite place to check out and support. Unique, eclectic and styling in all ways!

came here on a whim after seeing good reviews and boy do they deserve it. sam, who cut my hair, did an excellent job, got me absolutely spunky for the huzz this evening. she was super knowledgeable on styling and super talkative and nice and super informative and when we reached common points she provided me with excellent hangout spots as well. shes a fountain of knowledge and conversation and hair cutting skill. absolutely splendid i must say. shoutout sam and this whole place. awesome lil joint. also had snacks to indulge in which i found super neat and on a regular day i would have indeed participated in the snacks and coffee. also. books and art. wanted the jimi painting but its not in my budget. 10/10, will be back for my next cut🗣️‼️🙏🏼

Sam is a miracle worker! Recently I had a horrible experience at a different salon where the color specialist disregarded my concerns and convinced me to bleach my already dry, brittle hair to achieve the color I wanted (which she also failed to do.) The breakage that resulted was unbelievable... and I'm getting married in less than 2 months! I've been so stressed about how I'm going to prevent the rest of my hair from breaking and falling out because on top of having dry hair, I'm also severely allergic to coconut oil, which is in almost all hair repair products.
SUPER SAM TO THE RESCUE!!
She not only gave my scalp and hair the best massage and care I've ever had, she read thru the ingredients of every single product before using it to make sure nothing would cause my sensitive skin to react! I felt so pampered, and most importantly, I felt like she listened to my specific concerns. It's now the next day, and my hair is feeling soft, smelling good, and was easier to brush than it has been in 2 months - and with almost NO BREAKAGE!! I have found my hair person!!

I've been coming here for several years now, and Afton is amazing...as a stylist and as a person. Love their products, and as a bonus, it's also an art gallery where paintings change regularly. It's in the Grand Ave/Roosevelt area, so that's a vibe, too.

Saw reviews online and decided to call to check if they accepted walk-ins. The line went straight to voicemail but it was full and could not leave a message. Upon checking the post, it stated walk-ins are accepted. I made the 30 minute drive in the rain to be turned away by the hair stylist due to no appointment. I had stated that yelp their post stated they accepted walk-ins, she stated I would have to go back and book an appointment due to their only being 3 stylists that work there. They should update their post to show that there is no walk-in's accepted if they are under staffed and safe potential clients the trip.

I keep calling because I feel like this salon would be perfect for my daughter. But everytime I call they pick up and hang up or it keeps ringing with no pick up during office hours. Ridiculous.

I have been a client at Abloom Salon and Gallery for a few years. Alejandra is, hands down, the most professional and skilled stylist I've ever had.She takes enormous pride in her work and truly cares about her clients. Her haircuts are so beautiful and chic, I love it. Alejandra is a wonderful person, kind and honest. I would recommend Abloom Salon and Gallery to everyone!
