It pains me to write this as I have been a faithful customer since about 2010 or so. I have sent a lot of business to this shop. Being backed by AAA used to mean something. I am not sure what has happened in recent years but quality and integrity changed. My spidey senses were up in July 2023 when I spent $1800 and my service advisor (who had never met before... Juan? Jose?) seemed 'off' to me but I paid it because I have been going to this shop for over a decade and always trusted them. Fast forward to January 2024. A parasitic battery. They now tell me they need to replace the fuse block and the harness (per instructions from the dealership) and they are surprised that that is the fix on a non-German car. The car in question is a 2015 Honda Civic with 71,000 miles on it so it's it's barely being broken in. The cost of the fuse block $1500 + unknown cost of labor. I take my car to AMC Automotive (12th street & Highland) for a 2nd opinion and he replaces the alternator for $530 and the car has turned on without issues for several days. Additionally AAA Auto had me believing I needed the tie rods replaced at an estimated cost of $690 so I had been budgeting for that and AMC Automotive reports new tire rods were not needed. A simple google search says tie rods don't need replacing until well over 100,000 miles unless there has been some incredible front end damage. AAA Auto charged me $91 for the wrong diagnostics and I don't even understand how they can keep that money when they were wrong.

I've been taking my vehicles here for several years now, since 2018, and I am confident in both the quality of work and the transparency, or honesty, of the service advisers. It's not easy to find a mechanic worth trusting, but I have found this office to be a good choice.

Im not going to share anything right now. . But. One thing I do know don't go to the AAA auto shop at 1050 E Camelback. Sistas & Bros. They are Racist & discriminative against Elderly women. They took me for $160 for diagnostic test . My car was leaking near the front I took it to AutoZone to get a reading several weeks ago & Got a reading that it was emissions canister valve needed replacing. I went to AAA on 12/9/23 I told the tech at the front desk about at AAAit looked at the Man at the front was not very friendly with me he was very short with me for no reason at all. I ended up paying out of my pocket $160 just to do a diagnostic test. He gave me a printout of what the issues that my car had . None of the money went towards fixing the vehicle. Of course I couldn't afford what was on the paperwork . I told him I would bring the vehicle in the following week. Which was on my birthday. Dec 16 Sat I took it in to check what was leaking. . Unfortunately I could not afford $1000 so I went with the brake inspection. Which was part of the problem on the printout diagnostic which was $49.99 plus tax to inspect . I left the vehicle there so he could inspect them &;paid the $49.99 came back 2 hours later to pick up the vehicle and he told me calibers needed replacing. And there was a leak from brakes & it was important that I fixed it . Which would be another 1000 Well I didn't have the money so I left & I would come when I get the money well when I got back into my vehicle to drive off I hard a whistling sound near the front of my vehicle & as I continued to drive my vehicle my brakes were hard to push & it wasn't like that before I bought to AAA. They had closed and it was a Saturday so I figured but would wait until Monday to take the vehicle back in to see why it was acting that way all of the sudden after looked at it. I left several messages as well with the GM. Monday came no success bin resolving the matter. Would not give me my money back for the brake inspection which was a total joke. Shame on you AAA. I'm cancelling all of my accounts with you

Would not recommend. This company does not inspect their work after completion and expects the car owner to pay for the company’s mistakes. We brought our car in due to an AC leak, and despite the fact that we were told it was fixed, the refrigerant completely leaked out the next day. We were told they did an inspection afterwards but this obviously was not the case. After an actual inspection, they found a hole in the AC suction line. We brought a part for them to install, and the next day we once again heard clicking coming from the hood. After a simple inspection at the shop, they told us that the hose we brought had been missing a piece to keep the hose from shaking which was causing yet again another AC leak. This should have been communicated to us before installation of the part or after an inspection immediately afterwards. So $500 later and the AC is still broken. Their recommendation was to buy another more expensive line from a car dealership and install it again for $700.Save your time and money and go to a shop that will do it correctly the first time.

I trust AAA with my car. Appointments are helpful, but they work quickly and communicate throughout the process. They also warn you when it's getting close to time for certain maintenance like replacing filters.

Get your estimates IN WRITING and only approve with YOUR SIGNATURE. This business is unlawful. The work is subpar and they show no care or courtesy to your car. Do not return calls. Please share...

Nothing worse than a car problem when you are thousands of miles from home. Dan J made it almost enjoyable.

I went to get a diagnostic because my vehicle was running hot and they gave a estimate of $1000. I said go ahead do the work. Waited there all day and as got in my car to leave it still showed hot and the vehicle dies before I leave the parking lot. They looked at again and gave me another estimate for $900. After I just laid them $1000 for something they didn't even fix. I had no extra money to spend so I had to leave with my car in worse condition than when I brought it in with. When I left I noticed they left their computer plugged in to my car that was worth thousands. I brought it back to them cause it was the right thing to do and they didn't even bat a eye. Terrible service terrible people and I no longer have a AAA membership

My experience was horrible with the guy that answered the phone. He was super rude, so I decided not to bring my vehicle to this location.

The service was great, and Dan was awesome to work with. He made sure I had a ride to work and a ride back when my car was repaired. Would definitely recommend!

They fixed my AC for the exact amount they quoted me. No surprise charges, thank you.

My vehicle was screeching really bad when I applied the brakes. I took it in and was told I needed new brake pads so had all four replaced. Afterwards, I noticed that the squealing was just as intense but the tone was different. Made another appointment and was told the batch of brake pads they had used were bad, they would put on a different type, and that I can have it done at no cost (how nice). They said they would do the fronts and see if that corrected the problem. The intense squealing persisted after the second appointment had had to make a THIRD appointment to have the rear pads replaced! I hope the attempt to save a few bucks was worth it. My time and resources have been affected and I will never return. Not to mention, after my third appointment, even though I was told they drove it for a while to check for squealing, I had barely driven out of the parking lot before the screeching began. Don't waste your time, find some place else to go. I thought it being a AAA establishment I could trust that my vehicle would be taken care of and at a fair price. Dont waste your time.

I highly recommend AAA for auto repairs! I started taking my car here since I'm a AAA member and they have consistently lower prices than other mechanics and do good work. Most importantly they are honest - I have never had someone recommend or push me towards a "repair" or maintenance I didn't actually need to keep my vehicle functioning. They are the only ones I trust and I will keep bringing my car back!
