Alkire Park has a nice baseball diamond and playground, but the area is often dirty and lacks sufficient parking. Visitors note some questionable foot traffic and the presence of homeless individuals, who are generally described as nice. The park is old and could benefit from a makeover, including better landscaping and maintenance for the grass. Additionally, the pool is currently closed, and its reason is unclear.

I wish that the city could do something about the trash and the homeless. The homeless people that are there usually are nice.

Nice baseball diamond and playground, but the surrounding areas were dirty. There is no parking lot, so limited street parking. Also a lot of questionable foot traffic in the area.
