I attended the Monsters Ball and had an incredible time! The burlesque show was fantastic! This place is legend! The Art Show really impressed me, as did the people in full costumes! Highly recommend.

Dana Lee and Kim Moody think the attacks on Lebanon civilians was funny and joked about it several times on social media. Be careful of you attend their events as they think violance is funny. Dana Lee was informed of the children who were killed in the attacks and did not comment or take down their post.

We attended their Summer Splash Day event for the first time. Street parking right next to the house. It was lots of fun for our 6-year-old son. There was a inflatable water slide, splash pad, kiddie pool, snowball fight, super soaker water guns, and free snow cones. The area is not too big so we recommend getting there early and making sure to bring plenty of sunblock and a hat. The staff and volunteers were very nice!

This is a wonderful venue if you want a magical place to have your celebration. Our birthday party with 50 guests was a great success. It was fun to have an actual stage for our musicians and other performers. The trees and other plantings create shade even when the sun is broiling. The tall wooden fencing around the patios and ponds create a sense of privacy. Great place!

A very cool, eclectic art space... The oldest independent gallery in Phoenix! They just regular events, such as poetry reading, song, dance, even burlesque, and are great supporters of their neighborhood and the art community.

Was excited to see Exotic Phantasmagorical Spectacular show, but ever so quickly let down by the hosts continued talk about transgender politics & how they felt it was ok for very young children to take hormone blockers etc. I went to go see a free spirt art show of the human body as we are all beautiful. This is very sad for the Alwun House as the studio was nice as well as the servers but I would be hesitant going back from this experience & paying $450 for a table for 4 guests.
