As always, the standard fare at my neighborhood Applebee's was good. What made our late lunch date perfect was an extremely professional waitress who really took pride in great service. It was apparent to our party she was definitely a seasoned server, and loved making sure her customers were satisfied.The food was delicious as always (with the exception of the Spanish rice on one of our entrees). Although we didn't send it back, it should have been fresh and piping hot(it was not). Yet the lime Chicken entree was just right.

First time I've ever been to a restaurant where my food arrived well before my water or drink. Had the waitress come tell me they were behind at the bar? It's a Monday night, place wasn't remotely full, and I was watching the barmaid schmooze her bar patrons and chatting them up with plenty of time to pour a simple draft beer. Food was mediocre at best. I was only one person and still had to wait several minutes to get seated. Worst experience I've ever had at an Applebee's anywhere. Never had a restaurant charge me $2.99 for a glass of water! WOW! Y'all suck! You should be grateful I gave at least one star. Most of the staff looked like they really didn't want to be there. Really! Avoid Applebee's in Phoenix on 44th north of Skyharbor.

Plenty of open seats including in the bar. Yet we we told it would be a 20 to 25 minutes wait. Host never said anything to us, and I had to tell him three times we did wish to dine in before he took my name. After about 5 minutes , and watching what was going on we left and went to another restaurant in the parking lot. The family that had been waiting before we arrived also left and ended up at same restaurant.

Short staffed- felt sorry for the waitresses and single bus guy- waited over an hr to get a salad and steak

We (3) came in on Sunday 04/07/24 at 8:30.The place was mostly empty and we had to wait awhile before being sat. Red Flag ?- We all ordered burgers, a bacon, a double without cheese and a classic. (Not asked how we would like them cooked) Red Flag ?- Quite a while later we were told that the double had been miss cooked and they were remaking the item. Red Flag ?- Finally around 9:30 our entree order reach the table to our dismay.- The bun top on my classic and the bacon burger had dried out (like a cracker ) I believe from sitting under a heat lamp for a long time and the bacon burgers base bun was partially blackened. Red Flag ?- All the burgers were burned, crispy enough to crunch like a potato chip. Red Flag ?- The double burger was a single patty cut in half and stacked (like no one would notice), my classic was so overcooked it was bowl shaped and the bacon cheese burger had bacon crumbles and not strips in anyway. Red Flag ???- I notified our waitress and she could clearly see the issues with the burgers and said she would talk to the manager.- She went to the back and when she came back she said the manager was sorry, that they were going to give us a discount and comp the double (single) burger.- When I got the check they did take the double burger off but they then charge us for a classic burger instead.- We still got charge for 3 burgers so the manager really only gave us a $1.00 compensation on food nearly inedible.- I asked the waitress if that was correct and did they really intend to extend us a $1.00 discount to remedy the poor food quality?- The answer was, YES.- The manager NEVER came to our table or cared enough to even come out from the back. A customary courtesy call to the table was in order. Red Flag ?- The food was so poorly made it visually looked like garbage and at $59 a complete total ripoff. The fact the manager thinks a $1 discount fit the issue says volumes about their quality.- I honestly have purchased better food from a gas station compared to what we were served and had better customer service from a hotdog vender.- You can see this place is failing, is poorly managed and I say isn't worth even trying.- We spent 90 minutes to get deplorable food at a cost more than twice its value.- Read the 1 ⭐ reviews over the last 6 months if you want to get an idea of how worthless they treat customers and how poor their food quality is.

I've always loved ? Applebee's. It's great for my family to get together, as young kids and now as young adults. The staff is super chill, the music is great, the restrooms are always clean and of course, the food is amazing!

Applebee's is a place that I have eaten at for 30 plus years. It used to be my go to for Birthdays and special occasions. Since Covid, I had stopped eating out very often. Being on a fixed income, high prices and other factors, I have limited my self to only an occasional eat out. I did, though decide to take my daughter and her husband out for my daughter's birthday. Her choice was Applebee's. I had recently signed up for the app and was happy to see that they offered a new app user discount code. Not having been there in a long time, I needed some clarification on the coupons value and what I could use it for. We asked the waitress, who by the way, was fine. She did not know. She asked her managerI gave them my phone that showed the code in an email. The manager took the code and came back and said it was no good. I showed them the date on the email and he walked away saying that it was not his problem and was done with it. My son in law signed up for the app in the restaurant and got a code, as well. The waitress took the code and came back saying it did not work, no explanation.I was very dissatisfied that they took little to no interest in the fact that we were paying customers who for no apparent reason could not receive a small discount that we were entitled to.I did call the company few days later and was told the manager would return my call.Surprise! he did not. Obviously customer service and satisfaction are not a priority for this establishment. I would never eat from this restaurant again. The food was not bad, but absolutely not worth what we paid for it and nothing to write home about.When choosing a place to eat, with good food, a good environment and caring service, drive on past this place and find another.

Good Applebees the bar person was great and funny. She made perfect margaritas and just had a good time at old applesbees.

Very nice waitress. Meals were good but did leave us with stomach aches afterwards. Atmosphere at that time was just bland nothing to exciting at that moment. But again waitress was very nice and helpful.

Man, Applebee's has really gone down hill. I got the sampler and my friend got the fish & chips. We shared everything. I wanted to try the mango drink, but I don't like rum and they refused to substitute the liquor even though they've done it in the past. The food was mostly good except the fries tasted microwaved. The server offered fresh fries to take home but we declined as we would have to microwave them at home. Unfortunately, we both got sick that night as well. I've gotten sick the last two times I've had Applebee's so I'm not ever going back. Plus, the prices. It was $85 for LUNCH for two people.

It seemed like every staff member out on the floor was intoxicated. They bumped into me and ignored me for the first 15 minutes. They also told me my order was being prepared and it was sitting on the bar counter the entire time. The 3 women working on 3/25/2024 at 11 o'clock pm need to do better, this is VERY unprofessional.

Wait staff needs more training. A "pink" burger isn't supposed to be crunchy. Manager doesn't like when people talk back to him. Telling paying customers to stop talking is very inappropriate. This is exactly why our country is the way it is. Just useless people thinking they deserve everything.
